    Good Points: Does lift my hair if I don't straighten it after at all


    Bad Points: Doesn't really do the job very well at all


    General comments: I bought VO5 Extreme Style Root Boost Mousse which was advertised as "instant lift for your hair" and was first disappointed to find that it could only be applied wet and after washing hair. I followed the instructions exactly and blowdried my hair after applying it and then found my hair quite bouncy. However, I straighten my hair and after straightening it, my hair was flat again. It works well on its own without straightening and slightly better in conjunction with the Charles Worthington thickening spray. It is easy to apply and as long as you blow dry where you have applied it, it can be used between washes if your hair's looking a bit flat.
