Good Points: Good interest rate Good service Easy access to your money

Bad Points: When interest rates change, Birmingham Midshires tend to close the issue of the savings product and release a new one, so THEY DON'T pass on the rate change to the existing customers. You need to watch this, because if they go up a lot, you will find you may be on an old issue, paying much less than the new customers get. I personally don't like this practice at all. I think it's a bit underhanded, as those who don't keep a beady eye on their account will lose out. Alliance and Leicester are also good at doing this!

General comments: The Birmingham Midshires Savings Account is good if you don't mind switching your money around and keeping an eye on them!
