  General comments: For the most part the Babyliss 5506 dry and shine professional ionic 2000W hairdryer is a very good hairdryer - I bought mine about 3 and a half years ago and it has worked perfectly up until about a month ago when it started cutting out when it got too hot. I can no longer use it with the attachments. It dries hair very quickly, and the ion shine does work to a certain extent. It actually only has 2 speed settings - unlike the description, but does have a cool shot button. It takes about 5 seconds for the cold air to flow through though. I could benefit from different heat settings as you end up frying your hair slowly or quickly if you're not careful.
