    General comments: Their web site shows you the price, asks you input credit card number, and then in my case couldn't issue the ticket at the price.

    The company shows a good far on their website, when you try to book it says - cannot be booked. Then you have to call and the representative tells you all the seats are booked and the price has gone up. You ask them is their commission still the same as the website and you say yes. Then they book your ticket give you a final price.     They made my first name "MISS JANE" rather than just JANE. Therefore, I had all kinds of hassle when I went to check in for my flight since, obviously, my first name is not "MISS". I managed to still take my international trip, but not without a lot of hassle on every leg. Then I did not get mileage credit b/c of the name error.     I would definitely NOT recommend 1800CheapSeats.com. They are unorganized, deceitful and could not care less about displacing anyone.

    About six hours after I spoke to the 1800CheapSeats call center, the confirming email arrived. All the flights were on Delta so I immediately called Delta to confirm the flights, it would have been nice if CheapSeats had provided the Delta reservation number, and I was pleased and relieved to find that the flights were on their system.

    CheapSeats' website says they have to go through the excruciating process of waiting 12 - 24 hours to confirm flights because of credit card fraud. So why does ...

    I bought two tickets to Costa Rica and they more than double charged my credit card and tried to put me through to several different people. Then they said I would have to wait several weeks to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! It is a sham.

    I booked a ticket on their online site for a certain date, paid for it, and then got a confirmation for a ticket on a different date! It was for a day later, a different airline, and a different flight, and it cost more, so I know I didn't mistakenly click on the wrong flight.     This company is terrible. They gave me the wrong flights. Then they charged me a cancellation fee. Then they did not refund my money for two months. My money was only refunded after writing to their president! This company is a mess and has terrible customer service. Don't bother with them.

    I reserved a ticket for my wife for the 26th of November and paid for it with a credit card. When the confirmation came back, the reservation was for the 27th of November. I called within minutes of completing the transaction to figure this out. After waiting thirty minutes, they said there would be a $35 cancellation fee to change the ticket and that there was no way it was their computer's fault and there was nothing either of us could or would do about it.     I selected a return ticket from 1-800-CheapSeats.com leaving at 8:20pm, and they somehow booked me for the 6:22pm flight. When I entered my credit card number, the itinerary said 8:20pm and after charging my credit card the itinerary said 6:22pm.     I recently booked a flight for an international trip with 1-800-CheapSeats.com. Ten hours later, I discovered that the trip would not be appropriate, due to a change in airports for a connecting flight. My interaction with the agents on their toll-free number was excellent. Since my credit card had not yet been charged, they cancelled my flight without a problem. They also offered to assist in making a new reservation.     Although my daughter and her friend had a great time on their Florida vacation it couldn't end with a happy face. To my surprise my charge card was doubled billed in a mess too hard to explain. After 3 conversations and an hour later 1-800-CheapSeats customer service could only say send a letter to the research department. Have dealt with Expedia many times in the last couple years and never had these kind of problems.

    I am giving the best advice when I encourage you NOT to use Cheapseats! The problems and my goodness, the customer service... horrible! Nobody can help you (I agree that there's supposedly NOT a Supervisor to help you even if you say you'll hold...) and you are stuck. It's been a nightmare.     Unfortunately, I did not see these reviews before I booked our tickets through 1800 Cheap Seats. If you are thinking of booking through them, don't! Save yourself a lot of time and headache and book through someone else!

    I purchased a round trip ticket to Phuket in Thailand on October the 28th with 1-800-Cheapseats, and was charged. Everything was going smoothly...     August of 2004, I tried to purchase a ticket with called 1800 Cheap Seats to attend my aunt's funeral. When I did, the wrong dates showed up but my credit card was charged. I immediately called 1800 Cheap Seats and got the runaround.     I booked a flight with 1800 CheapSeats, and received an email telling me that as the credit card holders name was different, that the credit card holder must call them within 12 hours to authorize the purchase.     I booked an air ticket for my friend last week with www.1800CheapSeats.com. This week she figured out she couldn't make the travel and wanted to cancel it. I called its customer service and totally got surprised.

    I was able to purchase a last minute (72 hours before travel) ticket at about 1/3 of the cost found at other travel websites or from the airlines direct. There is a $50.00 service fee, but that is built into the price quote, and I still saved $450.00...on a direct flight on a major airline!
