Good Points: Great large sharp screen
    Great features
    Reliable
    Very easy to use

Bad Points: Phone memory could be a little bigger

General comments: I have owned a Nokia 7610 for over a year now and recently upgraded to a N70.
I'm now selling my N70 andgoing back to the 7610, that's how good a phone it is.
The 1 megapixel camera is sufficient and can produce some amazing results in good conditions.
The menus are all easy to use and if you install a 512 memory card (£30 off ebay) you can really utilise the phone to its full potential.
It may have a lower resolution camera compare to most nowadays, but it really is a great phone.

First off, let me just say that I don't use flip phones. I find it tedious to flip those things open and closed all the time, squeaky and loose hinges, and just an all-around annoying ritual. With that said, I chose the Nokia 7610 and haven't had any regrets since.

The media functions are awesome; pictures, music, even record your own MOVIES effortlessly and clearly. The mega pixel camera is second to none in my opinion. The clarity of the music and voices are crisp, I was most impressed by t ...

I've had the Nokia 7610 for almost a year now and overall I've been prety pleased. The symbian operating system is easy to use and great for downloading applications onto. The email is fast and effective so you can really keep in touch. However this is a much more business oriantated phone. The picture quality is only just better than your standard vga and the movie is so poor it's laughable. However the pictures do come out well on a computer, if you can get them there. The 7610 does come with ...

I have owned a Nokia 7610 for about 7 months now. When I opened the box, I was very impressed with what's included like a USB cable, the CD rom for the software of the phone, however there wasn't a hands free like with most Nokias you get. At first I was irritated by the keypad layout as it is not at all good if you text a lot, and when you go into something for example messages to read a message, you have to exit every page individually, as with most phones you can push the red button to end ...

The Nokia 7610 is a great phone to be used for many purposes. Those who want almost everything from a handset, would be satisfied by just seeing this mobile phone. It is the first Nokia smartphone with a mega-pixel camera and also a newer version of Symbian 7.0 operating system.
At the same time, you would be able to upload several applications to your phone and use them all the time. There are enormous and various softwares for all your needs. For instance, softwares are available to see Word ...

What a great phone! I had a Nokia 3650 for 20 months. When it had finally had it I replaced it with an awful Siemens SL65. I returned the Simens and got this 7610.

The menu system is exactly the same as the 3650 so there was nothing new for me to learn there. The screen, camera, infact everything is fantastic. Everything is improved over the 3650 and its smaller and great looking to boot.

The USB cable is fantastic as is the PC Suite (the new PC Suite on the Nokia site is more stable). The ...

Nokia 7610 - I had an O2 X3 when I never really new about phones, it was okay but didn't have Bluetooth. I got quite a bit of stick for having a phone made by a network "O2." I sold that and waited 4 months for the 6260 but finally when it came it was a let down. So I waited and reviewed phones time and time again. Then finally I got a magnificent deal. £180.00 for a Nokia 7610 brand new boxed and sealed. I bought it and now am the man and I'm not receiving any stick at all and on top of t ...

First of all the Nokia 7610 IS an excellent phone.

It is tempting to compare the useability with a PC or a PDA, but this is not really fair.
This phone uses the latest generation of symbian operating system and does so to the full. There may be the odd crash or inconsistency in accessibility or functionality, but it does a good job of most things. Remember how long it has taken Microsoft to get Windows to the level it is now with XP? This is a phone and therefore has no mouse and therefore ...

I have access to a couple of phones at present (changing contracts). The 7610 has by far the best screen resolution out of the following phones :- Sharp GX10, Samsung E800, Nokia 7250, Nokia 3220. Admittedly the GX10 & 7250 are older phones, but are still available to buy.

The keypad layout is great for texting.

Photo quality is good (for a mobile phone ! - why do people try to compare them to digital cameras ??)

Video quality - poor. ( I think video on all phones at present is just a ...

It just happened that my old Samsung v200 was on its way out, and so I popped along to my local phone shop to sort out a contract phone - this is the one I chose - and I can't fault it at all. The amount of features the phone has is incredible. After four days I was still diving into the menus to see what I could find!

The camera is excellent quality, and crysal clear as is the video camera function. The ability to use MP3 as ringtones is a nice touch.

Only downsides are poor built in r ...

I took a long time and spent a lot of hours reading reviews etc deciding which mobile to upgrade to from my trusty old 6310i and after trying a SE K700i for a disastrous week (only a good phone if you're a hairdresser !!) I returned to Nokia and chose the 7610 ..... from someone who is not 18 - 25 or even 25 - 40 this is an excellent tool. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Once again "well done Nokia".

Nokia 7610 is fantastic! Don't under-estimate the keypay design - it is very clever and works well. But apart from that, Nokia have bundled everything good into this little beauty.

With Bluetooth and Infrared, as well as supplied USB cable, it is easy to connect to other devices and PCs. Synchronisation with Outlook works very well. I simply imported all the contacts I had previously sync'd with my Sony Ericsson T610. Worked like a charm first time - it even brought across other TO-DO items i ...

Well the Nokia 7610 is all good and it works on my PC lol. I have had a lot of nNkia phones starting from the 5110 up to the 6600, that was the last Nokia I had but then the 7610 come a long and I had to get one.

The Nokia 7610 is a fantastic phone, I have just purchased one and all my 6600 owning mates are green with envy as it blows it away! The camera is far better and 10 minutes of video, superb! I have used my 10 free prints offer that comes with the phone and the picture quality on photographs is very impressive. The fact that you get a USB cable that lets you connect the 7610 to your PC is also an excellent idea. You can create your own wallpapers, ringtones, copy your contents to your PC and lots ...

My last mobile phone was a Nokia 6600, it is also a great camera phone, but then I bought my Nokia 7610 and it's really amazing to have a 1 megapixel camera in your mobile phone. It really helps me with my business snapping shots of our products & sending them through the internet with the use of Bluetooth.
And the shape is cool! Great Phone!

Within the first week of having it I found the memory card to be of insufficient capacity for a reasonable amount of video usage, the backlight was picky about when it wanted to work and the snooze button stopped working on the alarm function. I also found the buttons uncomfortable to use with average length fingernails.

Just got the Nokia 7610 free on Vodafone with half price line rental for 3 months and a 6 month contract from www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk (I highly reccommend them!).

First Nokia since 8210, and I am over the moon. Best phone I have ever had. No qualms whatsoever.

If you are considering it - stop! GET IT!!!!!

This is the first Nokia I have had for over three years, and all I can say is that I am glad to be back as this phone is a spot on performer.
Having had Sony phones for the past three years I recently upgraded to the Sony K700 but became very disatisfied very quickly. (read review).
Orange then offered me the 7610 as a replacemnet.
The camera is amazing and you are given a 64MB card for storage. You can easily transfer photos from pc to phone and vice versa with the supplied usb cable.

I have had my Nokia 7610 phone for 6 days. I walked into the shop Phones 4u with a print out from the Orange website detailing the 7610 for £99 on a monthly tariff of £30. I asked if they could match it or beat it. To my shock they said I could have the phone for free (saving £99) on a similar tariff at £30 per month. It pays to shop around. The phone is fabulous. An excellent MP3 player built in, brilliant camera, data cable provided in box, (handy to copy games from my ...

I have previously owned a Sharp GX10 and finding a phone that is good enough to beat and replace it was hard. The Nokia 7610 is one of a few phones that could do it.

The phone uses the symbian 7.0 OS with a Nokia series 60 user interface. This phone is actually the successor to the very successful 6600. The phones standard features and software is unrivalled. It has most thing you will want, all of which are easy to use and capable. If there is anything else you want it you can download it a ...
