Good Points: initially presentable
Bad Points: heating tubes burnt out within 3 weeks
General comments: this was our experience with the Igenix remote halogen heater and because we bought on line the cost and palaver of sending it back including postage was'nt worth it. Taking it apart is a nightmare and reveals just how tinny these things are,you certainly can't put it together again.
If you must buy one,buy another brand and buy it from a local retailer where you can return it easily.

I got the Igenix 1800W Remote Halogen heater via the internet and found it excellent. The remote control failed within a day and it has buttons for turning on, adjusting the heat, timing and oscillating. All the buttons adjusted the heat. Turning off and timing had to be done on the heater, and on this model the buttons are low and awkward.
I returned the heater and bought another one locally. Within a day its remote control failed in the same way.
Get the manual model, unless like m ...- Read thhd's review (95 words)

I bought the Igenix 1800W Remote Halogen Heater to heat my living room and very rarely do you need to use full power. I find switching just two off its four tubes on gives ample heat.- Read kelseyp's review (64 words)
