“Quality DJs & Great Music”

The great thing about 6 music is that they don't feel they have a straight jacket in terms of the music they can play. One minute you'll be listening to chart music, then the Beatles, then some random tracks from a musical! I used to be a avid Radio 1 fan, but as I've matured I've realised that life stretches beyond 10 tracks on repeat. BBC 6 Music is my dream radio station. If I got to programme my own station, I probably wouldn't do too much differently. They play a fairly wide variety of music which will appeal mainly to fans of indie music, but there's also shows for metal fans, jazz/funk fans, and northern soul.
