Good Points: Stage show, Madonna's voice, value for money
Bad Points: Little interaction with the fans, but hey it is Madonna for god's sake ! Also, London crowd rather quiet, if she had played in Newcastle (unlikely) the place would have been going wild!
General comments: I saw Madonna in London for the 1st time last week after having been a fan of hers for almost 20 years and vowing to go and see her every time she played in the UK.
Well I managed to get tickets and at £175.00 each, yes they were a lot of money, but jesus, you got your monies' worth.
At the begining, a track called "The Beast Within" played while Madonna could be seen on two giant screens on the stage, then, when this finished, the screens cleared and she appeared from beneath the stage floor, crouching and staring at the crowd, she opened with "Vogue," this involved her going into the crab position and walking across the stage, then standing on her head and doing the splits, WOW!
Her voice for all the songs was amazing, and the stage sets for each song were brilliant.
She sang songs that I have known and grown up with and I was beyond impressed, it was even better than I expected.
All the critics who have slagged off the show, have you actually seen it? I think not, after seeing the show, i would have paid £1,000.00 to see it.
Watch this space, I think her next album will blow away all of her critics and finally a word to her so called rivals, TOP THAT IF YOU CAN !
