“Rubbish choices”

I used to shop at Tesco Droylsden all the time, but these days I can hardly ever get what I want For the last two weekends I've tried to get a nice piece Pork but they haven't had any nice pieces If I go to Asda or Morrisons they've always got a great choice , so that's where I'll be going from now on. Please refrain from using tesco club card. Most of the rewards via tesco will cost you more than going direct to the store or the company. Not only do the staff pass you from pillar to post but tesco appear from the media and personal experience to be ripping people off from every angle. I have reverted back to asda... “Poor return for Clubcard Points”

I have just tried to book a hotel with Tesco Clubcard and am appalled at the quality and availability on offer. From the days of Tesco being a brand leader with its loyalty card it has steadily eroded to the point that I no longer would consider going to Tesco with their Clubcard as a loyalty option. 4 hours to try to book a hotel with no success. “Vouncher scheme gets more and more complex”

I am getting increasingly annoyed with all the vouchers Tesco throw my way and the restrictions that come with them. Now they are even bombarding me with e-mails with offers and little instruction on how they work. I realise it's all part of the loyalty scheme but to be frank I haven't got the time or the inclination to work out which voucher is valid when. Your new club cards points scheme is utter rubbish !!!!!! Each year i save my clubcard point for Christmas so i save around, 40 pound, i like to double them up which i do every year, only this year they sent me all 36 pound of vouchers in 4.50 vouchers, therefor i could not double up on anything as he has to be 5 pound to double! if you had 36,00 in club card vouchers i don,t get why you think you can only double the £5 and the
£4 from every voucher had to go back to club card points . i take it you received 8 x £4.50 vouchers with adds up to £36.00 you could of doubled up £35.00 to £70.00 and the £1.00 would of gone back to points, that,s an extra £35 free from tesco.if you are saying the extra points have yet to be credited back to you then ring them and they would look into this for you.

I called the customer service team when I was having trouble registering an online account to be able to view my clubcard points. The first man I spoke took my email address and told me within the next 24 hours I should have no difficulty registering....well I was still having difficulties 3 days later...I then called again. “Best loyalty scheme on the market”

I think it's great! I have always spent my vouchers with Tesco rather than mess about with the days out etc. I always double up too, last year spending it on frozen foods, and this time have spend some on cosmetics, some on clothing and some on household stuff, each time getting double the value. I also find that I get extra bonus money-off coupons at the checkout, simply by using my card. Tried to book a hotel in London before Xmas, nearest one was Heathrow or Luton? (Handy locations for a city break - not). Why do they let somebody at my previous address, with a different name cash in points that I have gained? When I did update my details they said that would reimburse the points and send me a new card, 2 months ago. Nothing. “Very Misleading”

Don't expect a warm welcome and best deal when you use your reward vouchers at attractions etc. You may be handing over £100 But in reality this is worth about £25 to the supplier as this is all Tesco will give them. Add the cost of staff to handle the claim and the glossy £100 voucher is worth less than £20 to the supplier. I've had enough of with Tesco Clubcard reward strategy. It seems as if they are playing every game to make you lose your benefits from the points gained. Eurotunnel don't accept Tesco vouchers for flexiplus. Why not? What's the difference? They know that a £64 1 way ticket will most often be booked with a flexiplus, so in the end the benefits are minimal and crucially, most people will not bother. Agreed about the vouchers. Every week my wife holds up the queue at the till while she and the cashier sort out which ones can be used. Surely the technology is there for all this to be in Tesco's computer system, which will check when the Clubcard is presented?

But as for Eurostar, why not have your points converted to Avios (formerly Airmiles)? Then you can book your journey through Avios online or on the phone, and pay with your points.

“Double up scheme is rubbish”

We spend a few Thousands every year at Tesco on food and petrol. I waited and waited to get a personal DVD player and went to sandhurst store friday eveing to purchase food shopping and enquire about player through double up scheme only to be told that this item was not included in this promotion. This scheme seems to be a bit of a one sided, so the customer spend loads of cash with Tesco and then they shove two fingers up in the air back. “Will not bother to "double up" again.”

Finally managed to double up my Clubcard coupons and found I could only use one £10.00 token. When I phoned - three calls to find the right number-was promised a Tesco gift card for £10.00 which still hasn't arrived. Thought I would try again and the item I was after, despite being "in stock" was now out of stock!
