“overpriced and undersized cards”

I recently ordered 2 cards 1 has arrived still waiting for 2nd, but it is nearly Christmas. I couldnt find any sizes for the cards but as I usually buy large cards for around £1 each from a well known supplier I stupidly assumed a medium card for £2.99 would be half decent. I know Im paying for a unique item, but the card that has arrived I would class as small. The quality is not what I expected either, just a normal run of the mill card. “Moonpig has gone downhill”

Having used Moonpig for many years and found them very good, I have had 2 out of the last 4 gifts / cards delivered late. Their internet site has become slow and unresponsive recently during times near celebrations like mothers day, Valentines day, Easter etc. The first failed delivery in December,they blamed on the weather, yet they posted no warnings on their website even when weather was predicted several days in advance. “Special Events Ruined”

Having relied heavily on Moonpig.com to send loved ones cards and presents since moving away from home, I feel that after receiving poor customer service and communication on 2 important occasions, I will now be taking my business elsewhere. My gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day this year were either sent incomplete without prior warning or just not delivered at all. “Flowers were terribly disappointing!”

I ordered a £30 bouquet of flowers as a thank you to a friend hoping they would receive the gorgeous large bouquet advertised on the website. Sadly the bouquet they did receive was no better than a cheap bunch out of a supermarket. I did not complain though until they died less than a week after they were delivered. I ordered flowers and a card for my partners birthday on the 17/02/2012 for delivery on 20/02/2012. Unfortunately I forgot to write a card for the flowers. The Moonpig website said that this would not be a problem, all I had to do was contact them via either telephone or e-mail. “POOR SERVICE”

Received some flowers during a busy period. Flowers were ok but nothing special. What i found appalling was there was no card with them so I had no idea who had sent them. A bit difficult to phone around to thank people. A card finally arrived 4 days later. The flowers were from my neice. They were ordered to be sent together but this didn't happen. “half dead a day late”

Not only did the flowers and card fail to arrive on given date I gave benefit of doubt and rearrange for the following day ny which point they were half dead . I cannot fault the customer service the staff were great but I was offered a fresh bunch for following week but I chose to take the refund receiving no compensation for me friend receiving half dead bunch of flower's a day late. “The delivery service is not good at all the card...”

The delivery service is not good at all the card arived 3 days after the persons birthday when I paied for first class delivery next day delivery where u have to sign so I paid that money and got standard delivery other than that moon pig cards are excellent they are really nice I pictures came out really clear and the person loved the card once they actually recieved it… Read Full Review

“Refused every kind of payment”

Have used moonpig before and been very happy UNTIL I tried to personalise and order card for my daughters 18th birthday! After spending ages selecting card/suitable photo etc, I got to the payment page and the site continued to refuse every single bank card payment I tried-2 debit cards and 2 credit cards later I was so exasperated I downloaded Funky Pigeon app and purchased card within minutes. “Gone downhill”

When Moonpig first started I was very impressed and used it for all my grandchildren's birthdays. I used the prepay service and have since added more money for this but now find I am unable to find a good card for any of the children. There are a lot of cards available but nothing that is particularly up to date.
