I have been shopping with Overclockers for the last two years. Over the course of that time I have been on the receiving end of consistent and unadulterated great customer care and genuine attention. The staff at Overclockers are very attentive and professional. The likes of 'Bailey, 5UB' et al ensure that any issues, concerns or simple questions are answered to the best of their knowledge. I sincerely tip my hat off to the staff as it's clear they enjoy what they do which shows in their attitude towards you their customer. Sorry reader if I'm sounding a bit gushy, just stating my experiences to date. No company is perfect, however these guys come very very very close!

“Good Overall”

Ordered an entire builds worth of components, however was not notified when one of the items was out of stock. Ended up waiting 4 days until I contacted them myself to find out I needed to swap this item for another one. The customer service through their forum was very quick and helpful, just disappointing the whole experience was let down by the stores systems. Overall would recommend giving them a try.

Deliveries from OCUK are super quick (choose DPD, they have a lot more options) and their forum customer support staff are great. Ordered a 34UM95 monitor which turned out to have pretty dreadful backlight bleed, however after a few days trying to get an RMA sorted out (had to provide quite a lot of pictures) I was able to return the monitor. Was received and had my replacement shipped back to me the same week. New one is perfect. Good stuff. As for their site, it's pretty good as far as independents go. And you get free delivery after you join their forum community for a little while.

“Rough Start, Great Finish.”

A company that can be a pleasure dealing with, if you go to the right people. The customer support webnotes are all shambles, replying with copy and paste answers, not helping at all. However, when I took to the forums, I was talked through every way I could be helped, with multiple free collections and deliveries, ending with me receiving a brand new monitor with an extra years warranty. tldr: Ignore the webnotes, go straight to the forums and speak to the forum staff.

Hello, I had a couple of problems with my order but this was mainly due to DPD not overclockers. They have now more then compensated for the delays so I am very happy. The only reason I give 4 stars is because one of the managers I spoke with must have been having a bad day or something because he was rude and unreasonable. This has since been resolved and I will be a returning customer. Thanks I am not sure how to edit my previos feedback below so please ignore that.

When it goes wrong - that is when you know if you have used the right company. I bought a number of items ... Overclockers prices usually pretty good. Purchased items for a PC build and 13 months later, MSI Graphics card developed h/w fault ........ expected to have to buy new, was hoping I may get a discount due to early failure ...was surprised when advised it has 3 yrs warranty. Initial contact took a while ... site advises to to fill in a web note with comments response in 24Hrs ... after 2 days no response - tried again, and got a response in minutes. Clear instructions that card is under warranty and to create an RMA. Sent card back, received mail to confirm it had arrived, and another then to say it has gone to manufacturer. This type of communication makes the difference to whether you will come back for business ... this is how it should be done, not leaving you guessing. Yet to get card fixed ... that is now down to 'MSI' but impressed with Overclockers

“Good Service - Good Product”

I've recently been trying to vamp up my machine by ordering a new watercooling system. Which in itself is a rather stressful situation as per what to buy and such. Most of the sites i've used in the past normally just ship it out in 5-6 days and I'm sat here waiting for what I ordered and it's not exactly what I did so I have a long winded argument about things with them. The one that recently annoyed me was the arranging of a computer case to be bought which they sent me a completely different case to what I ordered. But Ordering from Overclocks UK I found to be insanely simple, it's the normal putting in the details and such but what really impressed me was I ordered my kit at 5:10 and received it at 12.30 the next day. Everything was in good condition as well as they left a small surprise in the box as well. They also informed me of every step of the dispatch process which impressed me since most companies care very little after the product has left their care. The product itself was exactly as I wished since they have an option to change parts of it so that you can make it fit your build (Since I wanted to keep a colour scheme of my pc going) as well as suggestions of other products suitable. The only issue I found was something of my own fault where the tubing wasn't quite enough but that's because of the size of my case. tl;dr Good Delivery, Good Options for Customization, Good product recieved

I ordered a new 7970 graphics card from Overclockers. They were very helpful before the sale, answering some technical questions I had to ensure that the card would work ok with my PC. The order was a little late leaving the warehouse so my delivery was a day later than expected and a free voucher for some games was not included. A query raised on their customer support forums was rapidly resolved and the card was posted out to me the same day (with some Haribo sweets :)) Good service with friendly, helpful customer support means that I'm happy to continue using their services.

“DOA but no problem”

I ordered a Gigabyte Motherboard and i5-4670k, but my order arrived DOA, but i mailed them back and had a replacement 2 days later no questions, though the replacement was missing a grid2 code

“Sugar coated deal”

I've been buying PC gear for about 10 years now and up until 3 months ago, was exclusively buying from Scan.co.uk. After a falling out with them, I was looking for an alternate supplier. Overclockers are both professional and courteous. They delivered the next day as requested and items came decently protected. I say decently, because no-one will ever compare to the level of protection Scan go to when sending out kit. It was enough to protect all the gear though. Prices are reasonable, if you look around you'll find it hard to beat them on price. Finally, they give you a free packet of Haribo with every delivery! It's almost worth requesting separate delivery of items to try and get some extra packs. Very happy with them, will continue to shop there.

“My experience”

Things have gone wrong a few times where I have purchased stuff from OcUK but the problem was rectified swiftly once getting in touch with the right person. In that regard the customer support is good. What they desperately need to work is double checking what is sent out. The quality of the packaging must be checked to see whether staff working there have been cheeky and tampering with it or if the manufacturer is sending them the item in such condition. If they can solve that problem and keep their prices competitive, they sure would get a 5 star from me.

“Helpful, Kind but a little slow!”

The "little slow" part of my review is concerning the time it took for them to reply to me! I both tweetd and Facebook in boxed them a couple of times, admittedly there was alot of people to see to on that day, So I think we will let them off! ;D I ordered a whole computer rebuild and the PSU and RAM I had were working fine until suddenly I was getting power surges and a lack of booting eventually, (due to the RAM) So I contacted Overclockers and got to speak to a nice fellow with the same name as my farther!. He was very helpful in telling me how to sort out my returns and recommending what items to exchange my faulty ones for in a very polite and formal manner! All in all, great customer service and despite these two faults (my fault for buying cheaper) great products!

“My review of OCUK from someone whos been with them for...”

OCUK is a British PC retailer with a online and physical presence. They have built up a great community on their forums. They have great staff which go out of their way to help. Postage is decent and quick especially when your a member on their forums as you can claim free delivery after being a member for awhile which for repeating customers i think is a nice touch. Can get some good bargains now and then with the daily or weekly deals. Which is on their latest deals section of the forum or their latest news or weekly deals sections on their website. While i think OCUK are a good PC components company i cannot in good faith offer 5 star because nothing is perfect but rating them at 4 star means that there a pretty decent place to go when you need PC stuff. Spent over 300 notes there so they must be doing something correctly. ;) Shout out to some of the staff at OCUK. These are the people you want to keep an eye on on their forums.

“Overall service very good”

After having used Overclockers UK for a number of orders as well as using their technical support and RMA service, i would happily reccommend them to anyone. Their technical support staff do seem to come across as quite dreary and bored but they are very helpful and good at what they do. They are very competent with their own processes and get things sorted quickly. I have also recently spoken to a member of the returns team, who helped replace a motherboard for me. He was very polite, cheeful and friendly. At first, as i was in the middle of something at work, i was unable to talk to him about it. I asked him to ring me back at around 2pm and lowe and behold at 2pm i got a call from the same guy. My issues were resolved in a matter of minutes and replacement motherboard was shipped to me the next working day. Easily the best returns service i have ever used and would recommend overclockers even more so due to this. It really is a shame that the technical support guys let down the returns department in terms of customer service, otherwise i would have given a service rating of 5. Thanks again guys :)

I've been shopping on and off with Overclockers over a period of 10 years or thereabouts. In that period i've had little or no bother at all. The prices are generally keen and when i have needed support i've felt like i've been speaking to a decent human being rather than an auto prompted shell of a person. I feel i will always go back, if for nothing else the very busy forums. Which allow me to first vet my prospective purchase in the eyes of likeminded individuals, before spending my money.

“OCUK You Guy's Rock”

I've had a quite a lot of Gear from OCUK and have never been disappointed, even the odd item that has been not up to what I'd expected, either their shop staff have been willing to exchange providing its within a reasonable amount of time & providing it's not damaged for a similar item that is to my satisfaction, either that or alternatively OCUK Tech support staff have been extremely willing to assist me to alleviate the problems that have caused my disappointment, the latter of which is of great value to myself because I'm of the very much older generation, I was born in the year that 617 Squadron & Guy Gibson was dropping bouncing bombs on Dams. :) I live only 6 miles away from another PC / PC parts supplier by would much rather make the 70 mile round trip to OCUK because of the customer experience they have to offer. First Class company to deal with in my opinion, if anything the only thing I can think of on the downside is the lack of customer toilets & also the lack of what I consider to be a normal telephone normal rather than an 08 number. Thinking about it, they have another very large plus point with an excellent Tech & none Tech User forum which is great for gaining further knowledge & swapping information. In the modern vernacular OCUK as a company + all the employees I’ve had the pleasure to speak to or meet. All You Guys ROCK Thanks Roy, or on the user forum aka hondo.

I used the Overclockers UK forums initially to get community advice with regards to buying my PC which was an excellent experience. When putting the order in for my PC there was a minor problem but was resolved after a phone call and explaining the situation. Delivery was prompt after everything cleared and the PC went together with ease. Would most certainly be purchasing future parts from them again.
