Good Points: Seemed very competitive and fairly straight forward to place my order.

Bad Points: Customer service very poor, no delivery after 7 weeks.

General comments: I ordered a tv, dvd player and stand in early July from Unbeatable.
My order was confirmed - all items in stock and delivery within 4 to 7 days.
Some 7 weeks later no items have been delivered.
I contacted the site in July - according to them the items I ordered were in stock at the time I placed my order but then must have been allocated to another buyer whilst my order was being processed. AS IF!
Still, I was assured that items were on the way to their depot and I would receive them very soon.
Nothing.
Contacted them again on the 10th of August - told the only item missing is the dvd player and that would be in on the 22nd of August.
As of today, the 1st of September, still no word. no delivery and no replies to my latest e mails.
Long delays in getting responses to e mails etc.
My advice is steer clear.

I ordered a "open box" (ex demo?) Sony PC55E video camera. A camera arrived 4 days later but it was totally the wrong camera and worth about half the Sony PC55E's value. They arranged to have the wrong camera collected and the correct camera sent on a "collect & deliver" service. I sent 2 faxes and 1 email and made 2 phone calls to confirm it would happen but on the arranged day no deliveries / collections happened. Unfortunately www.Unbeatable.co.uk seem to believe their reponsibility ends once they have taken your money and thrown something in the vague direction of probably the worst (cheapest?) carrier in the universe, Initial City Link, who will do anything but deliver. Why should I care - I've done my bit, if you didn't get it it's not my fault, everything is too much trouble, and could you go away now because I'm doing my nails. Mr. Ratner you were right - it is all rubbish! Almost makes me dream of ...

Unbeatable: Ordered sony free view box on Saturday, deliverd on monday and the cheapest on the net. Can't say fairer than that.

Unbeatable is great as a concept and they did price match a cheaper web site than them, but after one month of waiting for my order/delivery date they decided that they could not complete my order and cancelled it without my prior concent and just left me a voice mail. When I called back they said they did not have the item in stock and did not expect to have any more. Other sites I have shopped with have replaced my order with another similar/comparable item if not better quality.

The only thing Unbeatable are unbeatable at is the speed in which they debit my credit card. I had to chase them to organise the delivery. No goods arrived on the day they promised to deliver. The next day was wasted waiting for the delivery. What is the point being able to track your delivery online, which never arrives on the promised date? On the whole, the experience was a total frustration and it cost me taking 2 days off from work, waiting for the delivery. I am still waiting to see when I ...
