Good Points: Big brother of the 16 grain version for FAC rifles
Bad Points: Again the price.
General comments: Exterminators Lead Pellets 20.50 grain
As I stated in the 16 grain review I tried these pellets and ordered them on seeing the results.
The 20.5 grain versions are more suited to FAC rifles so I bought them to give them a fair crack of the whip, they are a good pellet and seem to have less lead in them than the smaller ones, very hard the same as Bismags for withstanding higher powered airguns. They went well at all the power settings on my Rapid, from 22-30ftlbs but Im not convinced that they will ever take Bisley Magnums spot, lots of FAC airgunners have switched but more have stayed with what they know, price being the main factor, Bismags are £2.75 for 200, but these Exterminators are £7.00 for 350.
They grouped as well as the Bisleys but they didnt feed as well as I would have liked, in fact it ended up being hard work, you have to give them a good hard push to get them into the barrel, something I dont like having to do. I ended up double loading twice, my friend with the S410E had no problems at all, but since they were developed around the s410 that wasnt surprising.
Ill be sticking to the 16.00 grain version as there isnt a lighter weight pellet that performs and feeds as well in my Rapid, most other ones in this weight blow apart or spiral out of control.
Give them a go as things vary greatly in different guns, ie Stealth owners swear by the heavier versions but reckon the 16s arent as good.
