When Safeway has their buy one get one free, I find the prices are still high. I purchased eggs last week only to find out they were almost double albertsons and more than double the price a Wal - mart.
When I asked the customer service girl about the outrageous price of the buy one get one free eggs (6.69 for 18 eggs or 13.38 before the savings) she laughed and said 'yeah thats how Safeway does it.'

The Safeway store in North Harrow was always a great place to shop. The staff were all friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them. The shop was always well stocked and clean. Such a pity is has now gone.

Safeway Stores: This shop is good and clean. The staff are always very nice in here and are always smiling. It is not cheap here but it's not expensive. The car park is horrible and I don't like it.

Safeway Stores - I took my Toyota Rav4 through the Safeways carwash in June for at least the 12th time in the last year - it has soft brushes so these are kindest to paintwork. However it sounded really ropey and then proceeded to munch its way through the trim on the back of my car periodically grinding to a halt. Eventually I saw the trim fly off over the roof of my vehicle & crash to the side of the brushes. The chap on duty was helpful at the time & filled out a claim form but head office ju ...

Over 150,000 motorcyclists in the UK are campaigning against diesel spills due to overfilling at petrol stations. Diesel spills cause numerous accidents and put bikers at particular risk. We have approached a Safeway garage with a view to placing small warning stickers on their pumps but have, so far, received zero co-operation. It is clear that, for Safeway, diesel spills or the lives of bikers (and other road users) are of minimal concern. How is it that Safeway are not co-operating with this ...

I am a member of the Motorcycle Action Group, currently engaged in a campaign to educate people of the dangers of diesel fuel spillage. We are placing stickers on diesel pumps warning people not to overfill. Safeway at Eastwood refused permission on the grounds that the stickers might wear and become unsightly. Clearly the possible saving of a life is not important enough for that to happen.Any comments?

Following a bicycle accident in the car park of one Safeways store, the staff on duty told me as they were about to close I could not enter to await an ambulance, they were rude, unhelpful and after telling me they were not happy to even look after my cycle overnight, I think the store's staff seriously need lessons in manners and customer care, I have shopped in this same store almost daily since it opened several years ago, I won't be doing that anymore.
