    I'd say it's a great game, but it can get too addicting. I use it now mainly for just chatting with friends that I've made, but if you're new, spending some time and earning NP (the Neopets' currency) to make your stay there more enjoyable. That's another reason: to enjoy a lot of the site, you need to have excessive amounts of NP, which can frustrate many. There can be jerks on the site, but really nice people too. One of the main problems is that the younger kids playing get the idea that they NEED to use real money to play Neopets, when they really don't. The game can be plenty fine without having to use it. It's easy to lose track of time while playing, which can sometimes be kind of scary if you wanted to play for just an hour and then go and finish your homework or whatever, but then you might accidentally slip past that and spend two or more hours on it. If you have lots of time to spare, you'll become a great player. If you don't you can still have fun, but possibly not as much. If you don't think you'd have enough time to play, I wouldn't recommend starting an account. One more thing though: if you have started an account, but you want to lay off a bit, the Neolodge is a great place, it keeps your pets fed for up to 28 days.

    It's a really great site and its fun for all ages. Most people are under the impression that it's just for little kids, but its really not. Infact you have to be 13+ to access a lot of the site. And as for people being angry with the Neopets team(also referred to as TNT) making the NC mall because its pay-to-play, I say this: Neopets is a business if they don't bring in money the WHOLE site will become pay-to-play. Overall its a wonderful, fun site for all, ages with many different things to do.

    Neopets offers oppurtunities for graphic designs. Helps meet people around the world. Has lots of activities. Teaches kids responsiblity with money. It's just awesome

    neopets is overall a good site. there is nothing like it elsewhere other than marapets which is small compared to neopets.. if you like games neopets has hundreds and you can just play those day in day out. some are like remakes of pacman or tetris there is guarenteed to be some you like. they host events called plots which involve a range of puzzles, battledome challenges and good valued virtual items.

    Wow, if your 7yr says something will 'die' if you don't spend $, maybe you should actually check upon that first... Nothing at all happens if you don't buy neocash, NC simply gives you some fancier things to dress up your pet - it doesn't benefit game play or pets at all, in any way.As for only doing things once a day, there are a few yes, but only one wheel is a once-a-day, most wheels, scratchcards, faeries, the meteor, etc, etc, is Time Based - so you may be able to do it evey 30mins, every ...

    Good selection of animals. Good for any virtual pet site lover. Good server it usually doesn't fail. Many wheels of sorts..
    I would recomend it, it's a good site, it's just not the one for me.
    There is a lot to do but once you've done it you can't do it again until the next day. It isn't very time consuming and it's not one of my favorite sites. Along with the fact that while they do have a good selection of animals or pets you can only have 4.
    Well recommend Neopets.com.

    It has lots of games and people to be with. It's so boring! The pets are not like video game characters, they are GIF Files which can be stolen. The game has very bad training. Also, The website is not Web 2.0! This game is a bad role model for people who love video games because the minigames need a premade caracter.

    Unique concept and copied on websites like Marapets. Fun to play. Has a stock market, trading post, shops, malls, games, different worlds. For kids, teenagers, and adults. Good way of teaching younger kids that money can disappear as easily as it comes and to try to conserve in order to gain and keep money.

    Well, I have to say that I don't like Neopets at all. I used to love neopets, but now I realize I'm wasting my time. Sure the pets are cute and you get to buy stuff, but this is all just make-believe. And the worst part is the Neomall, which uses "Neocash". Getting "Neocash" is just a euphemism for using REAL LIFE CASH to get Neocash that you can't really use in REAL life. Neopets had something beautiful and unique: a fantasy world with your cute little pet where you could do whatever you wanted ...

    Fun, easy interactive site. Many ways to spend your time working on quests by your self or chatting on boards. Never bored. Very straight foreward game, similar to life. Inflation, stocks, shop, food, etc. Most of this site is free.
    Overall very good. This site rarely crashes and is great for all ages. You are bound to make new friends and find many friendly people. Just take care, as with any online site.

    It is like the game of life, you earn money (neopoints), have a shop, and you have 'kids' (Neopets) which you feed using the neopoints you earn. You have to use your neopoints wisely, and you can invest in the stock market if you like to chance it.Excellent for everyone of all ages, go and meet some new friends!
    No pop-ups, but there are commercials (How else would they pay all their staff?) I truly fun activity for everyone.

    It really is enjoyable for all youth, teen, even adult mind. The general concept of the "world" is very vibrant with little nooks and crannies that everyone could look forward to on their next "visit". So much to do, so little time! Well recommend Neopets.

    Neopets I recomend for all age groups (yes even adults). It doesn't copy other websites such as Marapets does. I admit NeoCash is a bit out there but, it gives no advantage to the game, its just for fun. The games are of great variety, ranging from easy to hard. There's also more to it to it than just games, there's chatting, you make your own gallery to collect stuff and collecting avatars.

    Neopets is a great way to have fun, meet a lot of new people and relax.

    There is a wide range of games, activities, and creative contests to play that cater for a wide range of skill levels and age groups.
    There is an art contest, a poetry contest, and a storytelling contest as well as a lot of others. These contests

    And because of the strict "Neorelated only" rules and active moderators on most of the neoboards it makes the site a safe place to chat.

    Neopets is hard, and its full of teenagers. I feel uncomfortable playing it, which is why I don't play. The games are fun though, but finding freinds and making a market is very, very hard.
    Some people also show-off in my opinion therefore I do not recommend Neopets.com.

    Neopets is a fun website where you can own up to 4 pets and play fun games to get neopoints. You can do quests for faeries or other important neopets to get cool items. If you want to sign up then I well recommend to just do it. You can buy a house to put furniture in for your neopets. There are random events with good AND bad things like you can get robbed by evil ghosts, or find a free food item on the floor. You can go underwater fishing which the higher your fishing level is, the better item ...

    My 7 year old said to me her pet would die unless I use paypal to buy neopoints or go to target and buy the card. Why is target promoting this nonsense.. I think there should be two sites.. one for teenagers and one for kids.. I don't think the site is kid friendly, dont recommend Neopets.

    This really addictive website is a good place to meet friends and play games. However there are many bad reasons why I have it a bad rating. The reasons are that the people who run the website can be block you from playing using your account. Also certain games don't work on types of computers and isn't a good place.

    I loved the old neopets, hate the new one along with TNT, and I wish I could go back to the once unique and simple neopets. They seem to not care about the opinions of the players. The giant layout change almost made me quit neopets because the site was no longer unique and it looked like just any other online game site, and it tried to be 'organized' but it was really annoying. It seemed to focus on visuals rather than content (e.g. "improved" games and graphics). And the whole site is complete ...

    What the heck. A lot of places say that you need to know your pin number right? Well get a load of this, I don't know mine. And to recover it, I need to change my e-mail, which a hacker happened to change. And to change my E-mail, I need my current pin number! Neopets has stupid recovery systems in my opinion.
