I transferred my ISA to a new provider without any difficulty although it took a little longer than the 30 days expected. The Safeway Mini Cash ISA always set a good interest rate but has been overtaken recently.

Safeway has a Terrible service. Tried closing my acc and transferring my money to another ISA account. You would think it was easy, but not for the Abbey. Its too complicated and one dept doesn't speak to the other. Had a real headache sorting it out and kept waiting on the phone. Even though the ISA acccount is with the Abbey National, you cannot do anything via the branch..everything is done over the phone or post
