Good Points: Lower prices than others at the lowest shipping, but not by more than a dollar.
Bad Points: The shipping info is misleading and the customer service reps I dealt with were rude and unhelpful.
General comments: I ordered a travel carrier with the intent of permanent future use, but more immediately, to pick up my kitten when she was old enough to leave the litter. Although the page says this product ships from the manufacturer, the checkout option allowed for faster delivery options via FedEx. After receiving a confirmation email with nothing but an order number, I call customer service to track my package. The sales girl said that they did not have the tracking info available and that since it is being shipped from the manufacturer, it would take up to three weeks! Not the 2-3 business days I paid extra for. She said the the page notes this and that they would not (not that they could not) refund the extra shipping expense. It is not with the headache of dealing with these ill informed people and long shipping times to save a couple cents! I don't recommend you shopping here! Try petstore.com or, better yet, Target!

We got a bunch of e-coupons when we registered our dog with AKC. While dog.com won't let us use all the coupons at the same time "which was annoying, I was able to use them on multiple purchases. The ordering system was at times painfully slow, but accurate. All items were in stock and were shipped promptly. I placed an order on Friday, December 21st for overnight delivery. The shipping charge was $60 but after I sumbitted my payment information, it changed to $97. I sent an email and it was adjusted. However, when I asked for an expected date and delivery time they told me my order was at the warehouse which would be closed until 1/2/2007. They are easy to contact regarding shipping.
Shipped out same day - even when doing ground orders.
Good customer service.
As for the person that got charged the wrong amount - RETURN IT - when I had a return they were VERY EASY to work with to process my return.

I have placed several orders with dog.com and I have been very pleased...much more so than at other online pet supply store. The prices are the absolute BEST anywhere, and if you find a lower price they will match it. They ship fedex, and they do not overcharge for shipping. Orders are shipped same day and I have always received my orders in 2-3 days. They have a wonderful selection of products and offer a discount on "buy 2 or more" for many items.
