    This is really the first time I am writing a bad review about any online store I've purchased from.

    The first time I bought 2 spaniel bowls from them, they sent me something that didn't exactly look like what I ordered. Brand name was different, didn't look like what was in their website either. I sent in an enquiry and all I got was that their stock change from time to time and they cannot guarantee my purchase and that I could do a return at my own cost! By the way, the shipping cost more than those bowls! I donated the bowls to shelters.

    This time, all because of an email I received from them about some liquidation sale on certain items, I went ahead to place an order. The order was placed last Friday (2nd Oct) and this morning (8th Oct), I got an email telling me that 5 of the items I ordered was cancelled. They were out of stock.

    I placed my order right after I received that email from them and they had 351 pieces of that diner.

    I had to wait 6 days to be told they were out of stock?

    I replied asking how much I'd be charged then for my remaining order's shipping and when they will be shipped. I also voiced out my displeasure of being informed after 6 days!

    All I got as a reply was that stock are while they last. No replies about my question regarding the rest of my order. I wonder if they will be sending them, whether I'll be charged a bomb for shipping the other 2 bowls left in my order, whether or not they will even ship it!!

    It's been 6 days!

    I've never thought I needed to check reviews before actually ordering from any online store. This is my first, one and only experience this bad.

    This is it. No matter how attractive those prices may appear, I'm never going to order anything from them again. Anyway, their prices appear lower than most places but us who've ordered from them know their shipping makes up the difference. Might as well order elsewhere for a peace of mind and better shopping experience.

    I recently contacted dog.com to inquire about where their dog shampoo products are manufactured. They responded vaguely that they are "made for us specifically overseas." In a follow up email, I requested clarification and specifically asked if the products were manufactured in China and they responded "I am sorry but I am not permitted to tell where this manufacturer is. This shampoo is made exclusively for us and is manufactured overseas."

    I ordered a 64lb bag of puppy food from dog.com cause the price was unbelievable.. i didn't notice but this big bag was not going to last me as long as i thought since they gave it to me with 2 weeks left to expire i will never order from them again

    I was a bit hesitant at first to buy products from dog.com for several reasons. First, the reviews for this website weren't overall great, and apparently it has left many customers unhappy. Secondly, some of their prices looked to good to be true. One dollar toys and collars? I was very skeptical. Fortunately I gave it a try and ordered a pretty big bulk of dog supplies (I am bringing home a new puppy soon).     I called dog.com 4 days after ordering, and was told they were just "backed up and didn't know when it would ship". Poor answer. No, per above, me "order" is gone from their system. I'm still trying to get someone to answer the phone.

    I ordered a travel carrier with the intent of permanent future use, but more immediately, to pick up my kitten when she was old enough to leave the litter. Although the page says this product ships from the manufacturer, the checkout option allowed for faster delivery options via FedEx.     We got a bunch of e-coupons when we registered our dog with AKC. While dog.com won't let us use all the coupons at the same time "which was annoying, I was able to use them on multiple purchases. The ordering system was at times painfully slow, but accurate. All items were in stock and were shipped promptly.     I placed an order on Friday, December 21st for overnight delivery. The shipping charge was $60 but after I sumbitted my payment information, it changed to $97. I sent an email and it was adjusted. However, when I asked for an expected date and delivery time they told me my order was at the warehouse which would be closed until 1/2/2007.     They are easy to contact regarding shipping.
    Shipped out same day - even when doing ground orders.
    Good customer service.
    As for the person that got charged the wrong amount - RETURN IT - when I had a return they were VERY EASY to work with to process my return.

    I placed an order a month ago for Hartguard Plus, AND i emailed them my prescription. I called every couple of days asking the status of my order and they kept telling me the girl who handles the prescription wasn't at her desk, or she stepped out, or she was out to lunch, or she was off that day.     I have placed several orders with dog.com and I have been very pleased...much more so than at other online pet supply store. The prices are the absolute BEST anywhere, and if you find a lower price they will match it. They ship fedex, and they do not overcharge for shipping. Orders are shipped same day and I have always received my orders in 2-3 days. They have a wonderful selection of products and offer a discount on "buy 2 or more" for many items.
