GMail is a free emailing service offered by Google which allows users to have an online account to email friends and colleagues. If you have used GMail then why not write a review to share your experiences of Gmail with other users.

No time limit where the email goes down, so I can send reports and not work against the clock, I also like the way messages come up on the sreen. In my experience I have not really experience any bad points, very easy to use and very happy with the gmail service, well recommend google mail.com

I have had all the top email accounts (MSM, yahoo, aol, excite) and not so well known (gishpuppy, cashette, hellokitty) and then some. Out of all of them I prefer GMail.

When I tried to sign up for gmail, the first three times I tried, it wouldn't work-no error messages, I just couldn't get to the account I just set up. Finally worked on the 4th try. The contact list is ridiculous-inexcuseably poor in my opinion.
I'm not impressed, I'll stick with yahoo which gave me no set-up problems and is easier to use.

Boots quickly, good storage, and mostly adequate to use... but I cannot access contacts without being a geek. Cannot create contacts unless achieving geekdom! In my opinion Google should have resolved the above problems months ago. Well I do not recommend GMail by Google because of this.

This is my primary email. It is not perfect yet, but it is feature rich and easy to work with. No other email is as close to perfect as Gmail!

Really can't believe a multi billion dollar company can't create such a poor email program in my opinion. I mean look at the address book is, was difficult to work out at first for me.
Look at yahoo's email address book. You just simply click on the "to" button and your list of addresses comes up. But gmail, I had to go to a whole other window to do this?
Or if you want to forward your message you have to type the names in there and you can't go to your address list as far as I am aware theref ...

No drop down list when creating an email it seems... I have to go to a separate window. How lame is that? Look at yahoo's free email now that is a work of art!
Try forwarding and going to your contact list! I can't.
I feel I waste my time with it..
A multi billion dollar company write such a lame program in my opinion, gets me?
My 2.5 old daughter could write a better program than that in my opinion.

When it works it is great and have to say had no conflicts (up till now) with my home and office fire walls. Hotmail (back in UK) was a nightmare with the office fire wall for me!
So my plea is please please can someone comment me with a solution to my Google and gmail nightmare?

I live by the mantra that one should keep an open mind at all times. So, when I first setup my gmail account months ago, I tried to ween myself from the yahoo account that I had been using.
I figured that if Google did such a great job on their search engine, that it would also translate into a great free email service.
Boy, was I wrong.
There is very little on the positive side that I can say for Gmail.
It is truly awful, and I have really made a good effort to use it, too.
In my opinion awful ...

I have had no problems with GMail by Google, their accessibility is great. Infact the only negative point is that I think that more depth is required, and the spam protection is rather bad. However I recommend GMail.

I like the site. It looks good and simple. Some Heading, titles ought to be bigger-more prominent. eg. Contacts. At present I cannot access gmail for some unknown reason. I thought it was Firewall, but I have swicthed that off. So rule it out.I am confused.

Interface, options, works well with firefox, integration with GDesktop, admits sending from other addresses, labels instead of folders (confusing at first, but you can find the SAME (not a copy) of the same message related to more than one label. Spam filter is very good, only 2 false positives in 3 months, some false negatives as usual. Free POP access (simultaneous with web access!) It's a great service... But, as usual with any alien server, do not use it for sensible information (read the T ...

Seems to be quite user friendly, but have not sorted out how to transfer addresses from Explorer, but will get down to it sometime. I like the topical links that are shown on the right side of the email, I guess they must scan the content of my email for key words.

With potentially endless space (or near enough), this email address site is great, and it has more features than I'd ever need.
The custom filters are a nice feature, meaning that you can mark conversations and emails as spam so they're automatically moved into the spam folder and deleted, forever, if you ever receive them again.
Gmail also has an inbuilt instant messenger, which comes in useful if you're on a network on PC where chat rooms have been blocked.
Considering this is complet ...
