I recently switched from HSBC after numerous calls to them about not being able to log in to their internet banking service. Since getting my internet banking code from HSBC, I have *never* been able to log in due to errors they have never been able to solve. I eventually decided to switch to Natwest, and, at last, I am able to bank online! It takes about 24 hours until you will be able to register after opening your new account, which is fine. You have to put in quite a few passwords to log in, which some may find long-winded, but - for me, at least - it gives me piece of mind that it is secure. I also love that there are apps for checking your account, unlike with HSBC.

I need your advise. You know someone was trying to get an access into my online banking and now my account is blocked moreover it’s already closed. I m going to open another account but not sure what bank to choose. I feel so unsafe coz of a lot of money laundering. I just need to know maybe someone knows the way to avoid illegal entering into online banking? Have you ever used text alerts or mobile banking? What bank would you offer to open the account in? Thanks

I have online banking with natwest and find it so easy to use. If i have any problems the call centres are only too happy to help and always get any issues resolved asap.

The online payment system is very secure and easy to use. I have been with natwest for almost ten years and would never considering changing.

The staff in the branch are helpful and it is easy to update information on your account. They offer great savings plan online also and great online account interest rates.

Would recomend to every one!

I have been with every High St Bank in the last 14 years, and finally found a very good one in Natwest which I have been with for 2 years now and wont change.

Natwest are very supportive, excellent deals, great telephone service, you NEVER get put on hold and if you do phone during busy times you normally get through within a minute or so. Most of all THEY ALL SPEAK ENGLISH!

Also, they have a brillent online banking service, so easy to use! but the best bit is, they give you an overdraft intrest free! can't argue with that!

Have used NatWest as my main bank for the last 12 years but have also used Barclays, Halifax, Santander and Alliance and Leicester but can honestly say that I prefer NatWest Online Banking. The card reader supplied as part of the service is a great comfort as even if someone manages to get my online account details, they also have to have my debit card and reader to be able to set up a new transfer. They also have handy features, like the ability to transfer money between multiple NatWest accounts in a couple of clicks. They also provide you with a free security package which is a very pro active approach to security. Opening a new account via online banking is very simple as well, took 10mins to fill in the relevant details and decide on which type of account and it was available for me to use the next day with the card delivered in a week.

ive been with natwest for 25+ yrs and have always found them to be helpful. ive closed accounts at other banks especially halifax because they seemed to want to take more than their fair share of MY MONEY. Natwest online banking is excellent quick no nonsense service. i pay my bills check my expenses done at the touch of the mouse,and i would rather have alot of security checks than lose my money!

Having used the online portals for 5x different banks, I can confirm that NatWest's is by far the most user friendly and feature-rich of them all.

Time-saving features such as the 'quick transfer' which allows you to easily transfer cash between your NatWest account by selecting the 'from' and 'to' accounts from the drop-down list, entering the amount, and clicking 'OK' are fantastic.

The online service is so comprehensive, I can't even remember the last time I had to resort to telephone banking for something I couldn't do online!

The only feature I feel it lacks is an online messaging function so that you can send their customer services team an enquiry or instruction. This would almost entirely remove the need for telephone banking in my opinion (other than to report lost/stolen cards/cheques).

Used this and other bank's Internet banking and this wins hands down. I like the fact all the account entries for all your accounts can be seen on the same page. Yes the card reader is an inconvenience but if it keeps my money safe and works that is fine by me - you do hear some horror stories of online fraud! It is 6pm the banks are shut and I just transferred money to my sister's account at Barclays. I can enjoy my lunch hour in the pub tommorow instead of the bank queu!

find it really helpfull and so easy to use it is great if you cant get to the bank and you are disabled or you are on your own you can look at your statements and not worry what is happening with your accounnt i also like the thought of logging on to natwest and know that you are secured against fraud if you have a question you can be assurred that you will get every help available to you so every time you logg pn you have peace of mind it is also great for depositing has well

I've been using NatWest's online banking service pretty much since it started and have to say I have always found it suits me very well indeed.
It's easy to check my balance, download statements and make transfers or payments to third parties.
They provide you with a gizmo to use in conjunction with your debit card to generate a code for validating your identity when doing anything like paying money to a new counterparty and I found that very straightforward to use although you do need to have it on you if you need to do anything like that when away from home.
I don't have an iPhone but the app for that works well with my iPod Touch when in range of a wireless network and I understand it is also available on a good range of phones.

Been on the service for a number of years now. It's really functional and stable (never have any problems getting in). The service is updated fairly regularly with changes and improvements. I use other Internet Banking services with other Banks and they don't have the same level of user-friendliness as NatWest Online. Would definitely recommend.

I have just transferred form the Halifax to NatWest and have found NatWest very accommodating, friendly and approachable.
The Person with whom I dealt was very understanding and understandable whilst being professional and business-like.
No line was overstepped yet I felt quite free to talk about anything.
This was quite the first time in along time since I have felt thay I was being dealt with as a humanbeing and a valued customer.
I had hints of the 'old ' bank-manger type to the dealings.

The realted imformation and card issue was quick to being issued, although initially there were problems with the first issue c/card, this was switly dealt with and smoothed over.

I have no doubt that I shall be happy using and staying with the Camberley Branch of the NatWest banking service.

All staff are friendly and show politeness and concern for ones issues at the same time as making one fell comfortable and the only person thaat matters to them.
