    Sometimes I use Google when searching for a person, for example a person mentioned in newspapers in 1920. I get more results, but perhaps that was because I did not use Dogpile advanced search properly.
    I have been using Dogpile for 2 yrs. and think it's the best. It gets rid of all the clutter and ads and you just get good results. Nobody wants to look at a zillion pages and I had a slow computer for a while. Dogpile seemed to make it so much easier. I got good links that I didn't seem to get on the other search engines.

    Dogpile is the only search engine that I use. However, I use the "advanced" search only. "The exact phrase" component is great in pinpointing what you are searching for. I "right click" and choose Create Shortcut. Then a shortcut to "Dogpile / advanced search", appears on my desktop which I often click on at will. Very handy.

    My company comes up first or second in searches for my product in all the individual search engines, but so far down in Dogpile that no one would "flip" that many pages. I've tried paying for advance placement, and still no results, and no way to get my money back. If I do an advance search with the exact phrase, then we come up first, but we don't have to do that with the individual search engines i.e. MSN, Google, Yahoo, AOL, Alta Vista, and Ask etc.

    Dogpile is one of the most under-rated search resources on the web. Dogpile's strength is in the scope of its search features; web, images, audio, video its all there. In the meta-search engine arena, Dogpile is as good as it gets.
