Getting a stack of wedding magazines is one of the first things most girls do when they get engaged, and i was no different. The thing that no-one tells you is how expensive they all are. You could easily spend £20 and only walk away with four magazines. You and Your Wedding i think was one of the best for inspiration. However it is pretty hard to differentiate between all the ones on offer - and they all recycle their ideas, so a January issue 2009, will probably be the same as a January... (read more)

You and Your Wedding is a great place to start when you're planning a wedding. Great articles and some really innovative ideas for original weddings. I found it really helpful for putting together ideas. They also do a good range of dresses. (read more)

Probably the best national bridal magazine available. Loads of tips, advice and news on current trends and themes. Particularly good for ideas on dresses. It also includes comprehensive listings of many of the major wedding suppliers and services. (read more)

You & Your Wedding magazine is a great size to start with which means when I find items I like I don't need to rip them out, just pop the magazine in my bag for reference in shops etc.
The content is really varied and doesn't cram its pages with adverts like some other magazines, and best of all the items featured are affordable! There's nothing worse than a magazine featuring a great item, only to find that its only available from one or two exclusive london stores! And at triple your... (read more)
