“Nauseous colors on Calendar redesign.”

Who in the world is responsible for the horrendous redesign of the hotmail calendar? It is just plain ugly, and whoever did it has no sense of aesthetics at all! The colors are nauseous! Frankly, the calendar was just about perfect the way it was. Change for the sake of improvement is to be applauded, but change for the sake of change is idiotic. Perhaps next time you should consult with the subscribers first! (read more)

I bought a game recently, Guildwars 2. Since then, Hotmail has been a real nightmare. The game sends an authentication code via e-mail for security measure, I could never receive this e-mail using my Hotmail account. Right now, my girlfriend sent me an email a few hours ago, I've been trying to answer her for 30-45mins, keep getting server busy. Word of advice, stay far away from Hotmail. (read more)

I had hotmail for almost 15 years and I loved it. The past few weeks it has been difficult to open my e-mail since it has gone through a new E-MAIL instruction. At sign-in, I was asked for a profile, new security code, and other questions. The security code didn't work the first few times and after trying to get my e-mail for over 30 minutes-I finally did get in. I have closed my account--too frustrating! Up until the last couple of week I was impressed. Yes, we experienced some junk by for us it was manageable. However, this last couple of weeks, I'm getting these annoying messages telling me that Microsoft no longer recognizes hotamail. What does that mean?!!!
I have given my address to a multitude of people and I expect it to be accessible to them.

half of those 12 years it worked fine and I had no complaints.
However, six months ago I started getting "We can't connect to Windows
Hotmail now, check your internet connection and try again later."
My internet connection was good (no problem accessing Yahoo or Google."
Now Hotmail is WORSE. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to open an email. You

It has been happening more and more often. It is impossible to get into the Hotmai9l account to read the mail. I tried to reset my password several times to no avail. I do not know what is going on, but as soon as I am able to get into my hotmail account, I will transfer the whole content to either Yahoo or Gmail. (read more)

I am really upset that they have made it almost impossible to access my MSN Hotmail.com. I have been using it for several years and have never had a problem. I have been told that they are going to delete MSN Hotmail.com so that we will be forced to use Windows Live Mail. If I was given a choice, I would have told them leave it alone. What an excellent service this used to be! It was the first email service I ever used because someone at the library suggested it when I needed one. And it was no problem to write an email in plain text and send it. I still use it for business purposes. The one drawback was that I had to remember to check to save my sent emails but it now does that automatically. Occasionally I have to delete but that's okay. Eventually, I needed to send myself plain text emails to combine into a long one... (read more)

I first created my Hotmail account in 1998! Since then I've used many different email services, but have always relied on my hotmail account. The interface is straight forward and easy to use. I've never exceeded my inbox size restrictions and I do send and receive quite a few emails.
The compatibility with my Blackberry is also great. I've never experienced any connection problems or delays in receiving emails.
I'm not sure what it is, perhaps I have a certain amount of loyalty...

I used MSN Hotmail from when I had my laptop and I absolutley loved it . In the end Igot tired of using the website so I started looking for other mail websites. I would have stayed with hotmail if I hadn't found Googlemail (see my review on googlemail). The only problem I had was it took a while to access but no harm done. (read more)

can take days with very little time between open or shut in all the years it has never been so bad trouble is that all my contact have my email address so i can not change it, so i can't check my flights booking or incoming mail when i need to it's a real pain

Was very pleased with the old MSN Hotmail, Unable to access Hotmail since they changed format. If you can't fix the access problem, or go back to the old format, Hotmail is DEAD.
Yahoo.com is easy to use and very reliable. I use it all the time since i can't get to my Hotmail account. I have several good friends on thew Hotmail that I have been unable to contact.

For some reason, I am no longer able to access my hotmail.com account. My logon fails and says that I have made too many attempts with an incorrect password. Funny, it worked for about 10 years! Now I have spent one week trying to get access to my emails on my hotmail.com account. Personally do not like the new windows live version, give me back my old hotmail, with out all this security!

As far as I am aware I can never open my e-mail therefore for me MSN Hotmail is unreliable. Until they fix this problem with my msn I do not recommend hotmail.com. I am unsure of what has happened as I can not see how you can loose an email address as far as I am aware they are all stored on a database so what could of happened therefore I do not recommend this email address site. Our company has had our email account since 2002. Our account was blocked because hotmail was hacked. I have been trying for 5-straight days with zero success to retrieve the account. There is absolutely zero customer service.
