Good Points: They are extrmely positive and likeable in their approach
They do decent reviews
They provide the essential news and cool content

Bad Points: A DVD would be nice so we can hear as well as see their thoughts
Some of their reviews are a bit bias and underated or overated
Some of their reviews aren't very well explained as compared to others.

General comments: GamesMater is a very good publicational magazine. The editors have wit and charm and I am always up to see their opinions on games although sometimes I disagree with the scores they give sometimes especially for PSP games. It generally has a lot of news for gamers and provides them with exquizit guides, posters and stickers. They also have a very slick features for retro gaming and a section devoted to fan mail. I do think they are a bit arrogant in saying they are the first magazine to go to for all of the content because websites add the additional content that GM can't provide for whatever reason. This magazine is essential for gamers looking for games to buy but if you are someone like me who is a hardcore gamer who reads the gaming news previews and reviews and watching Ben Croshaw's hilarious reviews, then you will not find much here useful but I love to hear what gamers think about different games so I'm not so fussed.

I like to just know what is going on in gaming which is what gamesmaster does. I try to get it every month and it usually has everything I want to know also in the cheatbook.

Overall, this magazine is a good guide to games. It doesn't have all the games listed that are coming out in the future however there is lots of information and good pictures and I found it useful and interesting.

GamesMaster Computer Game Magazine used to be the best magazine by a mile for multi format games, news and reviews. Until a few years ago when it ditched it's custom brand of adult journalism fused with the relativley adolescent subject of games and re-launched with a hideous CVG style kids image.
