    Good Points: Good product tests.

Bad Points: Too much concentration on sports bikes and not enough on "Normal" bikes that most people ride. Often slate previously lauded bikes when compared to newer rivals. Newer bikes are invariably better than older machines but not everybody can afford the latest and greatest.

General comments: RiDE is not a bad magazine. It's generally better than Bike magazine. The equipment tests are first class although they can be a bit picky at times with relatively minor faults. If I had to choose between the two, (I subscribe to both), I wold currently pick Ride as my first choice.

This is probably the best bike magazine. RiDE is highly rated in the motorcycle trade.

Overall, I would recommend the magazine, both as an advertiser and as a reader. Has to be one if not the best overall mag for the UK biker out there with relatively unbiased reports on motorcycles and kit.

Ride is a good magazine no bad points but can be very focused on France and Italy for photos. And should have some of bike riding were they live, the UK...

Informative, well written and presented. Interesting. They could re do the safey checks on equipment a bit more frequently, e.g. new helmets could be compared with older tests on helmets still available.

    Overall, a good, informative read.

Excellent mag with un-biased reviews just what is needed I could not praise this magazine higher. It was & is the best mag to date telling all honestly to the daily biker. Top notch.

Ride Motorcycle Magazine is easy to read, and contains good features that make sense to the average rider. Sometimes, some of the articles can get a bit technical without explaining what they mean. I subscribe. Ride is a good read for any Biker.

Whenever i buy any motorcycle merchandising i make sure i read up on the product in Ride. Ride gives honest, independent, product reviews and aren't influenced by the companies who help sponsor their magazine unlike most other magazines.

It addresses real world, you and me, motorcycling. Practical assessments of the bikes that 90% of us ride on the road either as a way of life or for high days and holidays. The niggles to look out for in context with the good points of each machine. Reviews even reflect the type and age of a rider that might consider using any particular bike and the purpose they may be using it for - no track-frantic rocket for a six-foot 45-year-old with a dodgy knee. Kit is tested in every day conditions ...

I look at most of the biking magazines each month and Ride is now my top choice - I can't remember the last time there was an issue which didn't have plenty of interesting and useful stuff in it. In particular the reviews are down to earth and honest - as another reviewer has mentioned, they're not afraid to call it as they see it and their rating of kit and bikes seems very honest.

Essential monthly reading, and some good subscription gift offers too!

The last issue of the RiDE magazine was the single best issue of any motorcycle magazine I have ever read. Full of test ride, product and riding info, and help articles. It is entertaining and informative.

RiDE keeps us up to date and informed and doesn't keep pushing the features on bikes that many of us are stupid about. The green triangle is very useful and very clever. The testing is usually credible and leaves you feeling wiser and better prepared for what can be expensive purchasing. The team comes across very well and makes me feel like I'm talking to someone who has more than image and stats in their head. The tips are good too; no matter how experienced I think I have, I always pick up s ...

Ride magazine fills perfectly a hole in the information needs of the motorcycle user. It gathers products associated with riding besides motorcycles themselves.
We love bikes, but we often also need to know how to treat them right...

Ride magazine is accurate and informative and every single bit of kit or hardware I have is based on the reviews and information in Ride magazine. It has yet to produce a duff steer on a bit of kit!!

RiDE - The reviews in this magazine can definitely be counted on, if these guys say something's good or bad, believe them. I always have in my 15 years of biking. They don't pander to the manufacturers and they put a lot of miles in on the road on some awful bikes wearing some awful gear, so you don't have to. If you're looking for some advice on bikes or bike kit these are the guys, and girls. They test older bikes as well as new ones and give great advice.

RiDE is a great magazine. Love the way it covers all areas of biking not just the wonderful world of bikes that go faster than light. E-mailed one of the magazine team recently for advice, got a really prompt reply answering my question completely. Subscription?....Where do I sign.
