Good Points: Always something new in each issue.Always a project to do at home to improve your skills.Useful tips with regards to most aspects of photography.
Bad Points: Every once in a blue moon you get the dull issue with not much added value interms of knowledge and projects.
General comments: A very exciting magazine, the word "Practical" hits the spot dead on!
I used to buy so many photo magazines and now I stick to PP!

I have been buying this magazine for about 20 years but for a long time now the contents have been directed at the digital user. I use film and find little of interest in this magazine. The latest (October) copy is a black and white special. I expected it to include some film items. But no as usual Photoshop again. I think this magazine should be renamed - Practical Photoshop. I shall not be wasting £3.70 on this magazine again.

I am an avid reader of "Practical Photography" magazine, and I find it on the whole to be good value for money. I buy it every month, and I especially like the equipment reviews, and I find it to be the best photography magazine around at the moment!

Practical Photography is a great magazine for any photography enthusiast. It has price and equipment comparisons, and advice on the best cameras and equipment to buy.
There are always amazing photographs, and the best thing about the magazine is a lot of the photographs have articles describing the equipment and techniques used to create the photograph.
Every aspect of photography is covered in this magazine.
A recommended buy!
