Sky have completely and uutterley messed me around and cancelled 2 installation dates on me. They offerred me a £5 credit. Pathetic. Their call centre staff are extremely rude and the excuses as to why the installation team did not turn up are pathetic.

We have had SKY for 2 years and have had nothing but problems with it!
The final straw came last month when my bill arrived and it was £134!!
£125 of this was for calls! I examined my bill to find that i had been charged for calls since march that as far as i was aware i had already paid for in my monthly payments.
I phoned sky and was told that yes, by bill had been backdated 6 months because i hadnt been charged for some of the calls i had made. Sky admitted it was a fault on thei ...

Please do not make a mistake and sign up for sky.
My wife and I recently managed to buy our own house and as a treat thought we'd have sky HD and telephone line with internet fitted. To begin with the engineer came with no ID and no uniform as I was out my wife was very nervous to let him in, He then asked her if she was the only one in which didn't help matters. After that he dropped the HD box before fitting it. before leaving he gave us a number to call sky to programme the channels. The oper ...

all SKY PLUS boxes make 'Mosquito' or 'fan' noise.

customer service bounce you around when you call. sometimes to as many as 14 different people to solve little problems.

30 day cooling off unsubscribe has to be done by letter.

sometimes if you have telephone with them, they wont release your line even after stopping billing you so you can't go to another provider.

    GOOGLE ALL THESE THINGS.

    save yourself weeks of pain

never ever subscribe, they won't let you leave! there is no cancellation number to leave sky on the site, there is then a lengthy grilling to try to leave in a well organised system to prevent you from leaving. It's unethical. Do not go near this corporation.

Been with Sky for 8 years. Had 2 occassions when customer service was clearly designed to exploit rather than assist. On getting multi-room, they charged me for 2 separate services, because the telephone cable had become unplugged. They gave no notice, increased my bill, and sent me a letter titled 'last chance' (this was also the first chance!).

On trying to cancel multi-room after 3 years, I was transferred to a queue where nobody answered for hours, so you have to hang-up and can't cancel. I ...

After my Virgin contract got over, some of my stupid friends insisted me sky is a great choice for the reason that they get M&S vouchers or not sure whether they want me to suffer as what they are.. Sky is sooooooooo annoying and I started hating sky.. Waiting to go back Virgin..

We moved from the U.S. to London 6 months ago and we decided to sign the 12-month contract with SKY. So far it has been the worst experience we've had since we moved here. one of the customer service people actually hung up on me when I asked to speak with his supervisor. We made several appointments for someone to come and fix our dish, but they would never call to say they weren't coming. I called countless times trying to cancel our services but I was told that I would have to write a le ...

You can go online to Sky Digital with any problems, they have a chat box and you can talk to a person who sits by a computer and sorts everything out and it costs nothing. I use it when ever I have a problem, I save loads of money and it always gets sorted.

I have just cancelled my contract with Sky Digital (hopefully, although they need 31 days notice) after spending nearly an hour on the phone on 2 calls on premium rate charge. After going through lengthy automated service with a range of irrelevant options, I eventually spoke to someone who did not process my request. Apparently my request couldnt be processed because I hadn't asked for them to cancel my contract and a reduction in package in the right order and the system wouldnt let them do ...

I received an offer for Sky half price for 12 months. Decided to take full advantage of this offer and go for sky multiroom at the same time, Ordered on the Tuesday and installation date was the Sunday. Great I thought! Engineer called that morning to say he would be there between 1 & 4. 5pm and no engineer so decided to phone sky which was of course a premium rate number! Was put on hold whilst engineer was called and was told that he had busy work load and had went over time but if I wanted he ...

Not long after my son got married I decided, along with my husband, that we would take advantage of the 'Introduce a Friend Scheme' being run by Sky.

To take advantage of this I had to pay £99 installation fee and, once the Sky was installed, both my son and myself would receive £50 of M & S Vouchers EACH. This was in September 2008. It is now 30th December 2008 and, because neither myself nor my son had received the M & S Vouchers we had been promised, I telephoned Sky this mor ...

Sky is playing a very dangerous game with me I feel...

I joined sky in march 08, paying £30 for standard installation, which has not yet happened! Luckily they've never sent me a bill.

But nearly 8 months later, Im still waiting for them to refund the £30 install fee. How hard can it be???

Im only 21 years old and for the rest of my life, however long it maybe, I will never, ever rejoin sky digital.

Repeats, over priced, appalling customer services, overcharged £224 from my credit card and have yet to refund it back despite always paying my bill on time.

I have been with Sky for about 5 years now and have had multi-room Sky + for about the last 3. Sky + is fantastic. You can series-link all your favourite programmes and fast-forward through the adverts.

Now for the bad - I was getting phone calls from various companies claiming to be calling "on behalf of Sky" every couple of weeks for months. Each time I asked them to stop calling as I had joined TPS several months ago. More recently I learned that Sky have a privacy policy where they pass on ...

Sky Digital are, in my opinion a very average satellite provider.
They put the same films on over and over again but on different channels. Far too many adverts which come over at a very high volume. Very little new material on the most popular channels.
I have been on a Sky full package for 7 years & recently discontinued the service. A full package, (if you can call it that when they still want pay per view for some sports & box office) equates to £ 564.00 a year. Not worth it.

As soon as we signed up to see speak and surf which should have been £26 per month we were overcharged £12+vat every month. The call centre staff promise to put it right every month but still 18 months later nothing has changed. Now we have cancelled their services (or are trying to). We have been promised various refunds, but then received a bill with the threat off being cut off. When phoning to try to solve the problem we are told that the cancellation isn't even on the system. ...
