Good Points: It's small and very easy to install. Doesn't have a power cord or a power switch. Very low profile.
Bad Points: It can cause the computer to lag while initiating, depending on your motherboard or USB card.
General comments: This modem is USB. Which is cool if you like simplicity and small external devices. All you do to install this modem is plug it into a USB port and plug it into the phone jack. These only cost $50 which is a steal for a 56k external. This modem also has no indicator lights except for an "On" light. This all depends on style, I guess, considering that it is just as expensive as the TFM-560X which is the same modem that uses a serial connection and has all the features of a fully featured external.
