I look forward to Private Eye arriving every fortnight. It is consistently funny and shows politicians about the level of respect they deserve (ie very little). Their cartoons are actually funny, unlike many that you get in National newspapers and the articles are short and punchy. They are not always funny as sometimes the main idea is to expose hypocrisy and corruption and some of the regular features – like the Coalition academy, Colemanballs and HP Sauce are brilliant. Private Eye is probably the only magazine which has a genuinely interesting, funny and unedited letters – surprised more media outlets don't let their readers provide more of this kind of content. I'm also impressed at how low the cover price is (especially if you subscribe) – it is printed on cheap, no frills paper (which must keep the costs down a bit) - Private Eye relies on the content to do the talking not a glossy presentation. Happily recommend Private Eye to anyone with a sense of humour
