Good Points: Cheap, but you pay for what you get.
Bad Points: They rip apart for no reason, no matter how extra gentle. I'll even them in and before I can leave my house one eye is bothering me, so I go back to redo & it's 1/2 that comes out! How did it split? It was fine when I put it in! This happens very frequently. I always carry a couple of spares. Hence, rather expensive when they don't last as long as they should.
General comments: I have complained to my optometrist, but they just say to use wetting solution. I asked if they'd had other complaints & they denied it. I want to change to something better as I know this is NOT normal since I have worn contacts for years & have used all of the same contact solutions.

Proclear Compatibles are excellent and comfortable. I wear them for 12 hours and take out every night. I wear them for 2 weeks and replace them. At $2.50 a lens it's worth it to my eyes to replace every 2 weeks.

I wore Proclear compatibles (toric) for years and was very happy with them until my optometrist said try Acuvue Advanced. Acuvue sux. I'm going back to these Proclear compatibles. They will most likely be my contact brand for life.

Basically with all contacts, you need to take care of them. With good care, these contacts can be great. I've never had these contacts rip or anything of that matter. From reading these reviews, all the problems were lack of care. Contacts mainly stick to your eyes when there is too much protein build up, which means you need to take your contacts out.. And the reason that they are ripping is because of rough handling or from cheap solution. Maybe changing the contact lens solution will change m ...

These freaking suck. Hard to get in. They totally suck to put in your eyes; both me and my girlfriend using them on trial can't get them in; I've worn contacts for over 20 years. Seemed when they went in they were fairly long wearing

I have worn contacts for 17 years and have never had so many problems and this is the first time I've ever torn a contact. Just a bit of background, my perscription corrects for strong farsightedness and astigmatism. I use Clear Care solution every night and wear my contacts for ~18 hours a day. Anyhow, within 5 days of wearing my new Proclears the right one ripped. Two days later, the left one ripped. Fortunately these were trials so I did not yet buy the year supply. My doctor ordered an ...

For the first time ever, I am able to wear contacts for more than an hour or two. I was reluctant to try contacts again but at my optometrist insistence I tried a pair of proclear compatibles and WOW! I put them in and it felt like they just disappeared. My vision was corrected 20/15. Mostly, I was amazed at how great they felt. I now wear contacts every day for up to 12hrs with comfort. Occassionally, I may have to drop a few moisture drops in my eyes, but it is only when I go inside my ...

My eye doctor really pushed ProClear contacts so I tried them. Each time I went through 6 months of contacts in less than 3 months. The ProClear brand rips the first time I put them in or after just a few days of wearing. My vision is also blurry in one eye. I never had this problem with Ciba. I would never recommend this brand. For me its been one problems after the other with Proclear

I have recently started to wear conts and proclear compatibles makes me never want to put on another pair out the 6 pair i've gotten all have torn except one pair in the past 3 months so i tried to get my eye doc. to change brands. She told me i needed to pay for another eye exam before i could get another brand. A couple of pair tore and the other part was stuck in my eye it took me several minutes to get it out, and other times they just tore to pieces in my hand, so i ask other people that i ...

These things have ruined my night many a time by spontaneously ripping without having any external stimulus. Since I have a fairly strong prescription, this has at times sent me home from events prematurely, and other times endangered my life (no way to drive home safely). I would not recommend this to anyone unless their prescription was very weak and could get by without having contact lenses or visual aids.

I wear my Proclear Compatibles from 6:00am to 9:00pm and some times 11:00pm. Being busy and no time to deal with dry contacts, these helped me. They go in easy, come out easy, and stay in all day. Even in dry Colorado I found that when I travel through WY to ID my contacs don't dry out. My eye doctor explianed to me that this will fix my astigmatisem and found out it is working well. I would recommend it to anyone, I just wouldn't recommend Acuve. Acuve is dry and unconfertable. Even though they ...

I had a fortnights trial of the Proclear Compatibles contact lenses after wearing SureVue for years. They were great for the first few days, then they seemed to move on my eye and give blurred vision. I returned to the opticians and they changed the prescription, but the problem got worse. I eventually changed Optician and was given Aspheric lenses which were fine.

I was on the fortnightly trial and was given Proclear Compatibles. I only wore them for a week because it dried my eyes out so much that twice they were stuck to my eyes and I had difficulty taking them out. I wouldn't recommend these to any one.

I have had 4 out of 6 of my lens tear, 2 while putting them in for the first time and 2 trying to get them out. One fell apart in 4 pieces in my hand and that was real exciting when I tried to get all of that out. Thank goodness for the blue tint. I have worn Acuvues and the 30 day/night focus and I have never had this much trouble with lenses falling apart or tearing when they fold.

Proclear Compatibles are the only contact lense I have tried. I have extrememly dry eyes and was told by my doctor that these were the best kind for my condition. I hope not. These dry up when in places like Home Depot and in the warehouse at work. I must use rewetting drops at least once an hour and if they still feel gritty, I must take them out and wash them, then put them back in. I hope there is another kind out there that will be more comfortable.

Proclear Compatibles - I was new to contacts and the ones that came from the eye doctor along with the coupon for a free eye exam were not that comfortable, this was my first pair and after about a month I lost one down the drain. As a result, I purchased these from my eye doctor after looking online for something different because before I had to add rewetting drops throughout the day and especially when I was in large buildings they were fairly cold from the air conditioning my eyes would begi ...

In Summery, Proclear Contact lenses help out a little with dry/pasty feelings at the end of the day.
BUT they're smaller B&L or Acuvue2, more difficult to get out of your eye, and have no markings to indicate if it is inside out or not.
I would say pass on it!!!
First try those eye drops for contact lense dryness. Then get a try out pair from your eye doctor. If he doesn't give them out, go to a better one that does.
