“DON'T DO IT!”

This is my first ever review but i thought I HAD TO WRITE ONE!!! DO NOT USE!!! I was browsing for a cheaper supplier of contact lenses and these were so cheap I was delighted, I have been using them for over 3 months, my boyfriend has tried to fish the broken pieces out of my eyes several times. I wore them today and I now feel as if I am getting an eye infection, it is off to specsavers for me. Please pay extra for a better pair, it is not worth it, your eyes are precious!! :( If i could... “A bit too flimsy”

When I started with contacts, I was using the standard issue (overpriced) lenses from the optometrist. I found that my eyes started getting a dull soreness after maybe 6 or 7 hours of wear. It turned out, in my opinion, they had insufficient porosity, so I went online and found these Dailies, which were the cheapest. They were much more flexible and apparently more porous and I could wear them a full day if necessary which was great. But quickly I started having occaasional problems... (read more)

After only 3-4 hours of wearing these I have to take them out. It feels like there is a grain of sand in my eye within an hour of wearing these, and after a few hours it's completely unbearable and my eyes are so bloodshot I look like I have conjunctivitis. These wear just fine, but when I try to remove them, I have to SCRAPE them off my eyeballs. I flood my eyes with solution, rub them, and still the contacts will not move. They are STUCK!! to my eyeballs. Never had a problem with the Oasis 2-weeks contacts. (read more)

WOW, for the price I paid for the contacts (years supply), I expected the contacts to actually work longer than just a few hours and I thought they would be comfortable. Boy was I wrong. I put the contacts in at 6:30am every morning and by around 11:00 am they stop working. They are very uncomfortable and always 'cloud' up. It makes me so angry when I speak to others that purchase other brands and they only pay $80.00 for a year supply and love them. I paid over $500.00 for my year supply... (read more)
“HATE these contacts”

I wouldn't even give these a star if I didn't have to. I can barely wear them for 3 hours without them being super uncomfortable. I do hair so my eye doctor recommended I switch to prevent the fumes of color and other chemicals to build up on the monthlies. I have had several be split when I opened the package, split in my eyes, and they cause almost constant irritation. I am wearing them at the moment and cant wait to get them off. They just dont last the day. Irriates my eyes. Goes out of focus. Ordered 3 packs but need to order acuvue instead because i will not use these for another month. (read more)

WOW! For the price I expected the product to be wonderful. But was I sure was wrong. They are very uncomfortable and STOP working within a few hours of wearing them. I will never ever ever purchase or wear these again. My problem was that I purchased a year supply and thank goodness I am up for my year checkup. I can not wait to order me some contacts that actually work.

Here is the deal, I am up from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM (at least) I need contacts that will last me all day. These don't. After a few hours these contacts get uncomfortable. ( I can stand it though) But after around 7 or 8 hours they get so uncomfortable that I have to take them out. After I use up my supply in these contacts I am definitely, switching brands. “These really hurt!!”

I bought these to replace my 1-2 week focus lenses that were being discontinued. Thought it would be great to have new lenses every day and they would be so comfortable. I could not have been more wrong. They were so uncomfortable and burned in my eyes. I am going to try and figure out an alternative while I finish using up my focus 1-2 week lenses. “These lenses split in your eye”

The lenses dry out quickly the split in your eye. I had them split in half twice now, the first time I managed to get half out but the other half stucking my eye for days. The second time it split and got could under my eye lid cause a lot of irritation and a trip to the hospital. They are a really bad lenses. (read more)

I;m wearing Bausch & Lomb 59 monthly replacements and they keep splitting too. I don't know which ones to buy now. I can't get any information on line. I tnink the best thing is to get adivice from an optition.

I find the contact lenses brilliant, they aren't quite as comfortable as the aquacomfort, but they are still satisfactory. The price and value for money are all a positive! (read more)

i dont recomend these, they: • If not removed at night can hurt my vision or even stick to my eye • Smaller than regular contacts making them hard to put in and take out • Dries quick blurring vision • Breaks apart easily in eye • Make eyes really dry • You can feel them in your eye • Drops needed for moisture (read more)
“Very good lenses for me”

I've been wearing Focus Dailies for over ten years with great results. I have worn other brands Pro Clear, Oaysis) but use the Dailies as my primary lens, keeping a supply of other lenses also for certain uses. I have worn contacts regularly for 30 years, starting with GPs, then Accuvue originals and so on... My Rx is ~-3.5 and -4.5... They do not dry out in my eyes, provide crisp vision, are economical if you buy online, require no solutions, are simple to deal with, fresh lenses every... (read more)

These were the first daily contact lenses I ever tried. It was brilliant not to have to clean my lenses every night in my teens. Well that was 8 years ago and I don't think these lenses have changed much. They are comfortable enough to wear but over long periods they dry out easily leaving your eyes feeling irritable. They are great for users who don't wear lenses occasionally for going out or sports but not users who really need lenses that can keep their eyes moist for an entire day.... (read more)

I started them because I was spending the summer in Kenya and I wanted disposables. They were not much more expensive than my 2 week brand and I love having a fresh pair every day. I've never had a problem removing them or tearing...even in Africa when it was so dry and dusty. I'd say try them before you buy, but I've had a great experience. They don't dry out my eyes as much as my old ones and they fit my eyes perfectly (they give me better than 20/20 vision!)

They're smaller than regular contacts so they are more difficult to put and take out. The moisture level is okay at first but after a few hours of wear, it starts to dry itself out, causing irritation. I have a lot of protein buildup in my eyes and they deposited easily into these, quickly blurring my vision. I can wear them for no more than a few hours. I think the worst part is being unable to tell if they are inside out until AFTER i put it in my eye. (read more)

Please DO NOT buy these contact lenses. For the third time, a contact has broken apart in my eye, and now a piece is still in my eye and I can not get it out. Your eyesight is precious and I do not understand how or why these are still on the market. Forget about "convenience" and "more hygenic because you only once and throw them out". I have to miss a day of work today, and how "hygenic" is it to have pieces of plastic stuck in your eye? It is only a matter of time before this will... (read more)

I've been wearing these lenses for about a year without any trouble until recently. In the past three weeks a contact lens tore in my eye three times. The first time I could not get the fragment out of my eye and had to go to the optometrist to have it removed. The second time I managed to get the fragment out myself. I speculated that the lens tears when it gets dry. So I have started using Renu eye drops to keep them moist. Today, even though I used the drops several times, the lens tore in my eye again, although when I took it out no fragments stayed in my eye. These lenses do seem to rip frequently.

These contact lenses are HORRIBLE, i was trailing these and the first day i wore them one ripped, i managed to take one half out but the other half was left in my eyes for severel hours. i tried everything to get it out but eventually it came out. I was soo frightened to wear contact lenses again, but after reading these reviews i now understand these Contacts are just plain BAD. Dont get these contacts, if anything complain to your opticians about retailing them, They are DANGEROUS!!! (read more)

I tried the Focus Dailies to remedy an issue with dry eye. I have been wearing them for about a month and they are horrible. They make my eyes even more dry. They are terrible to remove. Hard to see the actual contact, flimsy and tear super easy. I work at a computer all day and the lenses get blurry and have been causing me headaches. This is horrible contacts. It kept breaking in my eye from time to time, but it did not bothered me too much since I could quite quickly remove them from my eye. However today I have heard a strange sound in my eye and it was the contact breaking apart again! half was removed and the other half is still there right now.
Unless I can take it out soon I will have to head to the emergency room.

Initially, I was extremely impressed by how comfortable Focus Dailies are. Much to my amazement, I didn't even need my refresher drops. (My eyes are ALWAYS dry!) HOWEVER, once my trial pack finished, I decided not to purchase them solely because they are INCREDIBLY difficult to remove. I found myself stressed and feeling as though they were stuck - each time. I would recommend these toric contact lenses to anybody because they can fix their astigmatism and nearsightedness. I love them. I love the fact that these are daily disposable. If I can't put my contacts in for some reason, or I'm lazy - I can just wear my glasses. So it works out great! They are really soft and come in colors! (read more)

I have tried several brands and these are by far the most comfortable. I can wear them for 20 hours with no discomfort. At first, I found them difficult to insert and remove. They are much thinner than other brands (especially monthlies). But once I got used to them, they are very easy. I love them and wear them every single day, with no detriment to my eyes at all. Would recommend to anyone to try, they are so thin and comfortable. I have been wearing Focus Dailies for over two years now and have never had any problems with them. I have tried a few different brands as part of the trial prescribed by my optometrist, and this one was by far the most comfortable. I find them to be the thinnest, softest daily lenses that I have tried so far, which makes them extremely comfortable - I have even dozed off wearing them and they were still nice and comfortable in the morning. They do take a little while to remove due to them being so thin, but it's a small price to pay for the day-long comfort. (read more)

I'm just getting back to contacts after an absence of about 15 years (though tried once or twice 5-8 years ago to wear them again). Basically gave up on contacts in the early ninties because long, regular hours in front of a computer were drying out my eyes. My optician provided two sample packs, and I'm only in to my second week now, but I'm having no problems with these. I've had no issues with tearing or dryness. (read more)

If you have trouble removing them at the end of the day, do NOT keep trying, as this will cause small scratches on the surface of the eye. I sometimes have this problem at the end of the day and I have found that by putting in contact lens drops, closing eyes for a minute, and then waiting another ten minutes I can remove them easily. I have tried many other brands, but with my allergies, these are the only ones that work for me. I think that Focus Dailies are the best contact lenses (read more)

I have been using CIBA Focus Dailies for about two weeks now and wow! Focus Dailies are by far the best contact lenses I have ever worn! I used to use Acuvue Oasys for my dry eyes, but the the material in those just sucked up all the tears in my eyes. Then I switched to Acuvue 2, but hated the idea of having to clean and store them for two weeks. So now my optometrist switched me to the Dailies and my oh my! What a difference! I use Focus Dailies Toric. Very thin lens. The lenses feel invisible after you put them in. However, after 8 or 9 hours my eyes do get a bit dry. I abuse my daily lenses by wearing them 3 or 4 times. Rub and clean them with Opti-free Replenish.
Other contacts I've used are Hydron Actifresh 400 Two Weekly (crap), BL Soft Lens 66 Two Weekly (feel heavy in the eyes), Acuvue Dailies (They're OK).

Great rebate going just now. Acuvue always felt like suction cups. I used to use Focus Monthlies, switched to Acuvue 2 weeklies, but could never get used to them and different sizes never helped. I asked if Focus had a daily or weekly to try and the optometrist gave me the dailies. Loved them. The optmetrist said that some people don't like the the type of material in one lens versus the other. So, it's like shoes. The convenience is great. (read more)

I have worn Focus Dailies lenses every day for about two years and overall I have been happy with them. They are very light and comfortable to wear (because they are so small/thin), and are also easy to put in your eye as a result of this. There is no sensation of an 'edge' of the lens on the eye due to the rounded smooth cut given by the laser cutting process.

I've been using Focus Dailies for two years now and love them. Before this I used Acuvue Advanced, which were also very comfortable. But the dailies are comfortable and I never have to worry about cleaning them.
I do sometimes still have a hard time putting contact in in the morning. It's relaxing ot know if I have a problem I can just throw out the contact and wear glasses for the day.
At the end of a long day (18 hours or more) my eyes to feel a bit dry and it can be hard to pull the...

Focus Dailies are very comfortable the whole day.
But when I remove it at night , I feel like it's stuck to the eyes.
Overall : it's very good but can be a good alternative when you want to leave your lenses in the disenfectant for a longer time after long wear.
I consider it very important at emergencies ( travelling , swimming and I think I will always try to keep a spare box.

I have been wearing the Focus Dailies lenses every day for quite a while now, and have never had any serious problems with them, apart from the very occassional split, which has happened before I have put the lenses in. I got red eyes wearing this Dailis contacts lens... I don't know why, maybe because I over used it but as I remember contact lens can last 8 hours a day but this contact lens are not advisable to wear longer than 4 hours...
