Good Points: Extremely comfortable. Inexpensive.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: The Biomedics 38 contact lenses are by far the most comfortable contacts I have ever worn. After wearing other soft contacts for an extended period of time (~12 hours or more) my eyes would become red and irritated. This has never happened to me with Biomedics.
Price does vary dramatically depending on where you go. The last time I went to my opthamologist (UPMC Eye and Ear Institute), they cost $45 per box, which is ridiculous, and they can be obtained for much much cheaper. Optical stores often sell them for $20-25 per box. Online sites like Lensmart.com 1-800-Contacts, and Wal-Mart often sell them for $12-16 per per box.
