The worst lens I've ever worn - eye goop, blurry vision, don't last for more than 4 days,I cannot recommend the Acuvue Advance contact lenses for that reason. If contact lenses are to be worn all day in your eye, they need to be very comfortable.

I have worn contact lenses for over 37 years and when I first made the change from hard gas permeable lenses to soft lenses 5 years ago, my optician recommended Acuvue Advance. I have not experienced any problems until this year. This year I have noticed that the recently purchased batch behaved differently than the previous lenses. The lenses seemed to fold more easily and I sometimes had difficulty in removing them. During recent months I have suffered from very bloodshot eyes after wearing t ...

Would not recommend. Previous version, much better. They are comfortable for the first few hours but soon irritated my eyes. I found that they folded easily and some chipped straight out of the packaging.

I have one regular Acuvue Advance and one Acuvue Advance Toric. I don't notice as much problems with the regular lense.

A lot of people say acuvue advance is really uncomfortable and bad. but for me, they are really comfortable and perfect! i used to wear acuvue 2 but i recently switched to acuvue advance. for me, acuvue 2 was too uncomfortable and my eyes got dried out VERY VERY easily. but i was fine for 10 hours with acuvue advance. it has a very clear vision. although it is a little harder to insert and take the lenses out, it shouldnt be a problem.

This is the only Astigmatism lens that I can wear. Crisp vision and does not slip. I recommend to anybody who has tried other astigmatism lenses and have been unable to wear them.

I wore Acuvue 2 for at least 4+ years. Switched to a trial pair of Acuvue Advance. Within 4 hours, the lenses were feeling dried up in my eyes. I stuck with them and the dryness problem did not go away after 4 or 5 days. So I'm switching back to Acuvue 2.

I'm hoping they clear up soon. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment period? Thank goodness this is a free trial pair. I put them in for the first time this morning. My vision is not as clear as with my former lenses, "2 Clear" premier toric. I feel slightly nauseous after wearing them for several hours. I have to say that the Acuvue Advance contact lenses feel comfortable although my eye gets itchy now and then.

I have worn contacts for years, my prescription changed, my optomotrist said "let's try Acuvue Advanced". Big mistake. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They are very uncomfortable, which I believe has something to do with the fact that they fold in on themselves. When I went to take them out last night, the one in my left eye didn't readily release from my eye. Instead, it folded in on it's self whilst still in my eye. I'm going back to my old brand.

I am a very experienced lens wearer and can put lenses in and out easily. I have worn most types over the last 22 years. I was given a sample pack and told how wonderful they were by the optician as they are so much more breathable. I popped them in easily and yes they were really comfy. Then I jumped in my car and went to the shops. I had a real panic as by time I had got to the checkout they were completely fogged and would not clear on blinking. I sat in my car and rubbed my eyes praying they ...

Kept getting filmy substance of them and I had to always take them out in the middle of the day. Made my eyes always red and irritated.

I have worn contacts for years and i'm not generally good about cleaning, changing them or not sleeping in them and i have never had problems until the advance hydroclears. For the past several months i thought it was my allergies messing with my eyes and fouling out my contacts. The worst part is my eyes itch horribly no matter how much i change them clean them or even pop in new one's. I have rubbed my eyes so hard that the inside of the lid has torn several times and my eye gets all nasty ...

To start off, it's been about 3 years since I last wore contacts. My last pair were Acuvue Torics and I absolutely loved them. R&D at Acuvue must have been asleep at the wheel when they made Acuvue Advanced. I've given the Advanced lenses a solid try and have worn a sample pair for about 4 days. That being said, these lenses are horrible. Not only does it feel like I constantly have something in my eye but they are difficult to put in due to the taco effect. I've also noticed that no matter what ...

The first pair of contacts i got were acuvue advanced. I know it's hard to put in at first when your new at it but these tended to fold up or stick to my finger and it's very frustrating. But other than putting them in they are fantastic and very breathable. It's fairly easy to take them out too. I love these they are so comfortable and I'd recommend them to anyone! P.S. I'm near-sighted if thats any help or info that you might need based on a typical review.

Switched into these lenses and by far the best I have ever worn, I never get blurry vision and can wear them for at least 12 hours comfortably without having them dry out. Comfortable to wear all day long, great vision,

These are without a doubt the worse lenses I've ever owned. Normally I can put contacts in in a minute. These lense take at least 20 minutes to get in since the lense likes to constantly collapse and taco, and stick to your finger instead of your eye. For example you go to put the contact in and it folds back on itself and wraps around your fingertip instead. Also they're extremely uncomfortable. It always feels like there's something in your eye no matter how much you clean the contact. I've ta ...

I have "monovision" one for close up and one for far away. VERY SUPERIOR to bi-focal glasses! I got very tired of taking glasses off to see up close and tilting my head all over the place to see the computer, then far away.

Used Acuvue for years with no problems. My doctor switched me to Acuvue Advance for astigmatism because he said the acuvue that I been wearing was discontinued. I have never had a problem with my contacts until the Advance. Feels like it is not setting on my eye properly. Blurred vision. Feels terrible and aggravating! I wore for two days and now my doctor has ordered same script in a different brand.
