My Sagem MYX-7 has been a good mobile phone for what I need it for. Unfortunately, the longer I had it, the problems with it got worse and worse, and now I've decided to get rid of it. I wouldn't buy this phone again because others have had the same problem with the screen freezing etc. (read more)

I decided to change my mobile phone after having a Nokia 3210 (very reliable) for 4 years, and it was starting to die, so I got the Sagem MYX-7!
It cost me £150 at the time in 2004, but I am sure it's cheaper now. It looks very stylish with a silver case and buttons, but I'm not fond of the clicky buttons.
The screen quality was very good for the time, but compared to phones nowadays, it's starting to look old.

The Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone is awesome for just everyday use. The camera only goes for about 20 seconds, but it is good quality, and the sound recorder goes for 30 seconds, and that's awesome too. (read more)

I loved the Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone when I first got it, but I soon became disappointed when I took photo's. The pictures always came out blurry, unless you stood very still and were in the right sort of light for the shot. This is probably the only downside for the phone, but because I wanted a phone that could take good quality photo's, this one wasn't for me. (read more)

The Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone is very good and lasts long. The camera can store over 200 pictures, and the infrared on it is amazing, and I can send stuff to most phones with the infrared, unlike the Nokia 6170 which my friend has got, but he can only send to other Nokia's. You can zoom 3x, and the picture quality is good, but not good enough to print. 8/10. (read more)

Sagem MYX-7 - I am resonably pleased with this phone. It has a good camera and good memory, although the clarity of the reception could be better. My main gripe would have to be the keypad, the keys are far too close together, therefore you end up taking twice as long trying to write a txt msg which is bloody annoying. Build quality is ok but the keypad creaks which is not a good feel to the keys when you press them. As I said, it's a reasonably good phone apart from the faults I have... (read more)

I have had my Sagem MYX-7 about 6 months now and can honestly say it's amazing! The video and camera quality is superb! Games are brill, and it's so easy to use! It is really stylish and costs much much less than any other phone would of it's kind. It must be the best quality phone around for the price it is. And I was even happier when I got mine because I got it when it first came out for £75 on T-Mobile from EBay and anywhere else it would cost £150, so half price! (read more)

The MYX-7 is my first Sagem mobile and I was quite happy with it until I discovered that no matter where you download your ringtones from, they translate into low definition, quiet abominations. I can never hear the thing ringing in my pocket and the vibration is so pathetic I wonder why they bothered including it. Also, the thing has a rather annoying habit of crashing, either when texting, talking or just when it is in screen saver mode. These frozen moments can last for 30 seconds or 10... (read more)

I'm a teenager and needed a new phone for christmas and my Siemens MC60 phone is rubbish! I saw the Sagem MYX-7 and didn't know whether to buy it or not as it didn't look like the best phone around (I read all these reviews first!!!) because it was quite big but I thought it was worth a try so my mam got it, I took it home, tried it and luved it! I am a bit of a mobile phone addict... I have had so many. Before this phone I had a Nokia 3200 which I didn't get on with and then a Philips 535i, a NEC e525 and also a few others along the way. The Sagem MYX-7 phone has got to be the best one I have had as yet.
It is really stylish, has great ringtones, and basically its a really smart phone.
I'm proud to get it out of my pocket ;-)
The only thing that I wasn't 100% happy with was the camera, as sometimes I find the photo's come out very...

The Sagem MYX-7 phone is great!! Go out and buy this phone. Why? Because it is affordable round about £100-, great camera and video playback with sound, melody recorder so you can use chart hits as ringtones!! It is also triband, has a lot of memory to store your pics, vids and songs. Messaging service is great also, I have had many Nokias and I thought the texting service on those were awesome, but this Sagem MX-7 is got to be one of my best. Bought my Sagem MYX-7 as a replacement for an ageing Sony J5e, this phone was indeed all it was all the positive reviews stated.
The keypad is tricky at first & texting can be difficult but overal this is a first class unit- a lot of facilities for lille money.

I'm a teenage boy who wanted something that would be a phone to be proud of and having previously owned a Nokia 3310 I didn't know what to expect from a Sagem. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It has everything you could want on a phone with a quality camera, a very good zoom and video has brilliant sound to go with it. The Sagem MYX-7 is FANTASTIC! At an affordable price it has everything its competitors have, at a cheaper price, as a matter of fact, some of its more expensive competitors don't even offer video and sound recording. I have never even thought about a Sagem handset before. I change my mobile regularly having 3 in the last 3 months. I have owned Nokias, Samsung, Sony Ericssons, Sharp etc. The phone is brilliant. At only £129.95 on 02 this phone has to be one of the best. It is tri-band, has a great camera, and zoom to boot. Video recorder which is superb and with sound.
It also has a melody recorder which I tried out this morning, recording a dance track from MTV and it played back really sharp. ...

I got a Sagem MYX-7 for £78.95 and just thought it would be a really rubbish phone. But when I got it, it was the best phone I had ever had! It is easy to use photo and picture messaging with just a click of a button. The colour screen is excellent and the games are tremendouse. Once, I stayed up in my room for a whole day because I was glued to this motor game. It is really good value for money and I would recommend this phone to anyone and everyone. I am very satisfied with my Sagem MYX-7, I previously owned a Siemens MC60 camera phone, which was total rubbish. Having sold that on ebay I looked for a new phone and the Sagem caught me eye, it seemed a good phone with video that lasts about 20 secs for £80 on Orange. So I bought it and have never stopped playin' on it since I got it!!! It is an excellent phone which I recommend to anyone. (read more)

My friend, I don't need respect. Looking at the phones you've owned in the past I don't think you're in a position to offer it. Did you read what I've written? I currently own an My X-5. That's also a Sagem and it's fantastic. The Hi-fi ring tones are great. The volume is superb. Perhaps you should have bought that instead of an My X-7? I could get a free upgrade from Orange if I wanted but I consider the design of the the 7 to be so flawed that I'd consider it a major mistake. Yes, I realise that the camera element of the 7 is top-notch, but what's the point when you need to have fingers the width of chopsticks to operate the key pad? If you have to pay a penny to upgrade to this phone, please don't bother.

I ordered a Sagem MYX-7 from the Orange and it only cost £79.99. It has a great screen and a cool digital camera the ringtones are not as good as they could be but they will do, I am not talking about the hi fi ringtones because they are good. The only thing I can say to you is don't spent your money on a mobile 3 times the price of this one because this is better. (read more)

Well I was close to madness trying to pick my first mobile phone, and then I came across the Sagem MYX-7 in the Orange shop for just £120. So obviously I bought it. Within three hours of opening it I had explored virtually everything on it, and was already in the process of murdering its huge memory. The Sagem MYX-7 is a nice mobile phone with nice qualities, it has a good camera, which has a cool little video function, and the JAVA is all around good.
The only bad points I have with this phone is that the Keys are very small, and for someone with HUGE hands (like me) it can be quite tricky.

This Sagem MYX-7 is a top class mobile phone. For the price, im sure it can't be beaten. Only paid £129 for it on 02 pay and go from argos. I took back my Nokia 3200 cos it literally is the same phone i might of brought 5 years ago except with a colour screen - is it me or do nokia phones never seem to evolve? This Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone is amazing... I have been used to nokias for a very long time. But this phone took the place of my nokia with no problems, the camera is one of the best in its class! The Screen is bright its easy to use. Its also cheap! You can't get a better phone for less than £120! the phone is up in comparison with £250 priced phones! Buy it! (read more)

I used this Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone for three weeks before i gave up on it. Don't get me wrong its generally quite a good all rounder with some fun features but i felt it was lacking in some of the basics which is a real shame as it spoils an otherwise good phone.
Good points first-
There are plenty of fun ringtones and wallpapers and you can use your own photos as screen savers etc.
The two games that are pre programmed are quite good... my husband was obsessed with siberian strike!...

The Sagem MYX-7 has excellent colour and graphics. I bought the phone 3 days ago, and could work it straight away. Some of the buttons are quite fiddly, but there are simple ways around that. The camera is brilliant quailty with a superb zoom in function. The video function is a bit of a let down, although I didn't buy the phone esspecially for it, so it doesn't bother me. Sagem is a very good manufacturer, and should be trusted by anyone. By far their best phone yet!!! (read more)

The Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone's excellent features include Video Recorder, Digi Camera, 4.3mb memory (great) voice/ringtone recorder, voice memo, hi-fi and polyphonic ringtones, good selection of wallpaper and screensavers, infra red connect to PC etc. It fits into your palm nicely and the syle of the phone is great. This Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone is a lot better than it looks. I wanted a camera phone with good features and i looked at the samsungs, motorolas, nokias and all other kinds of phones but i never thought twice about gettin a sagem. At first i thought it would just do but its really a good phone and great for its price (149.99 pay as you go) from the link or other places. the colour screen is quality and its zoom and extra features are great.The java games are very good too. I bought this Sagem MYX-7 mobile phone knowing that sagem is a good phone manafacturer(having previously purchased an myx2 and mw3020 models, both of which have been very reliable and good value). Although i do like nokia phones they seem to be over priced and sometimes over-rated. this phone has every feature except an fm radio which isnt important to me anyway. Hope not, as those things were AWWWWWWWWWWWWWFUL get a Motorola A835, for only about £50 its 3G and beats this phone in EVERY SINGLE WAY.
