We live in comox on vancouver island and use to buy them at london drugs or sellers but they don't carry them anymore. “I didn't realize what was wrong until this put it right”

I'm a 20 year old female and I swapped to Multibionta from my usual generic multivitamin when I started yet another course of antibiotics. This is fantastic; not only does it prevent thrush from being on several strong antibiotics, my hearing and vision also got better once I started taking these. “WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!”

Having brought this product thinking that it was doing my body some good, I continued to use them with a good feeling. That was until I happened to look at a stool I passed to find the whole tablet sticking out of it! I carried on taking these tablets and checking my stools and everyday I found them visible in one piece! I received Mulitbionta to try for free in return for telling others about my experience (both good and bad). Other than some unnecessary ingredients in it (i.e. food dyes) I am very happy with the results. I have always had problems with regularity and now I can happily report I am a daily type of gal. I am sure my body is much happier removing that waste more frequently that in the past. (read more)

I've only recently seen multibionta vitamins and been taking them for about a week now. For many years i have got bad heartburn and indigestion daily and where always taking tums to relieve this. I also have some chest pain problems which the docters are yet to find a proper answer for so, I figured taking these could'nt be a bad idea. I bought Multibionta in the belief they would help boost my resiliance to colds etc. with the incidental hope of possible improvement to my digestive system.
For the first time in +10yrs I am sleeping for more than 4.5hrs at a time - right through to the alarm clock call. Completely unexpected effect. My digestive system is not disturbing my sleep, and the zinc/magnesium is I think also helping keep me asleep.

4 years ago I used to get terrible cold/flu symptoms this would lay me up for at least 4 dys, since taking multibionta for nearly 4 years I only get very mild colds, im 44 yrs old and the feel good factor and energy i have is superb. I have recommended these to my parents and friends and the results are equally as positive.
They work but give them time, dont expect after two tablets too feel different, be realistic.

I have been taking the multibionta tablets for some time now. Like all other vitamins and supplements that I have tried they do not work. It is my belief that Vitamins in general ( in the words of prof seftel are expensive urine )
Several things about the product do not appeal to me. For starters the tablets are hard to swallow due to the immense size of them. Also they are way too expensive. The adverts promise so many benefits like digestive benefits and energy of which I am yet to...

Has anyone looked at the non-medicinal ingredients? FD&C Red No. 40 (possible carcinogen), corn oil (as if we need any more corn products), talc, Hydrated Aluminum oxide, allura red (banned in some European countries) and many more. Not to mention some of the forms that the vitamins come in are inferior (eg. dl-alpha tocopherol as vitamin E, should be mixed tocopherols in d-alpha form; many oxides when they could be chelated better, such as citrates). Please give us your recommendations for a similar multivitamin with probiotics but without the dangerous additives. I suffer from migraine and the thought of red anything makes me shudder.

I took these for about 3 months after about a month of taking them daily, i felt considrably better more energinzed, happier it was a little strange, The probiatic effect really works, didn't feel any side effects. I Stopped taking them and really felt the difference. back on 'em now.
Try these but you will have to wait a few weeks for noticeable results, you will normally feel the probiactics working within days!

The Multibionta Tablets are relatively new technology in the vitamin supplement world.
With this product you get 12 vitamins, 12 minerals and 3 probiotic cultures in each tablet.
You have to remember that you are introducing enzymes into your body with Multibionta.
This is called 'Friendly Bacteria' by the manufactures.

I have been purchasing Multibionta for the last year approx. I find it very gentle on the system and does compliment a good wholesome diet.
<br>I do not wish to condone this product as it is excellent but the Calcium, phosphorus and Magnesium content is very low, which i know as a Nutritional Therapist is most important as we are almost built on Calcium.

<br>Is there anything that can be done to increase this level? It would finish the product off nicely.

A very good alternative product, with much higher levels of Calcium, Phosphorous and Magnesium is Sanatogen Gold. No Probiotics, but this could be substituted by eating a good quality Yogurt.

Yes, I am aware that Sanatogen Gold have a higher level of calcium etc. I steer away from dairy produce, yogurts etc. but substitute calcium in other ways, tahini, seaweed etc. I just felt that the calcium, magnesium levels were extremely low. However, an excellent product otherwise with probiotics etc.

Calcium is of course important for physiological development and maintenance but there are some people who may over-use a higher dose of calcium (possibly causing calcified deposits to form in tendons and joints). It must also be noted that the formulation is based upon the fact most consumers take calcium in their diets in other forms (e.g. dairy products). If a higher dose of calcium is required, I would suggest a calcium specific product. A product like Multibionta is manufactured for the 'General' public and therefore meets a broad variety of needs.
<br/>As for the other ingredients, you have to understand there are regulatory requirements for many of them (concerning input levels). Magnesium for example is one of those.

The makers of Multibionta suggest you try these for 3 months to notice a difference.
I was a little sceptical at first, but after my dietitian recommended a pro-biotic for my IBS, I tried these as I didn't like the yoghurt's/drinks. They have been really good! I have less digestive problems, and have caught less colds than any other year, so the claims of boosting the immune system could be true!

When I went on a health kick recently I decided to exercise and diet and so I thought taking some supplements might be good for me. I liked the commercials for Multibionta with that nice tune so I bought a bottle of them. All I can say is while they didn't harm me, I don't know if they helped either. The probiotic stuff is meant to make you feel more energetic and stuff, but I couldn't tell. I felt better but that could have been down to diet and exercise. So really, it all was probably... I have found them extremely helpful in regulating my bowels and stopping my constipation. I don't suffer bloating any more and take one tablet every morning without fail. Before taking mulitbionta I would go for days without going to the loo and be so uncomfortable. It was miserable and I now feel great. Highly recommended.

Probiotics are not there to "make you more energetic and stuff". They are used to help balance the symbiotic (friendly) bacteria within the human body. This provides stability in digestion and means metabolism and absorption of dietary consumption (e.g. food) may be improved, thereby providing more energy to the body.
<br/>The energy is a bi-product of good digestion, the probiotics do not provide direct energy.
