I have had 4 of these. The brush is great, the charger is rubbish. Two have stopped working within days, one gave up after 8 months. That's a lot of money for something that is unreliable. Check the feedback on the Braun website - this seems to be a common problem that has not been addressed.Very disappointed. (read more)

bought this on ebay for £70 with extra attachments went to the dentist six months later and no work was needed. best toothbrush out there so far oct 2011. would recommend to all (read more)

It is worth checking which model you have before buying as there must obviously be more than one with the "professional" label - either that or mine is faulty! It certainly feels good to use and teeth actually do feel cleaner after use. Love the thirty second reminder for each quadrant so much better than just the old 2 minute warning. It took me a fair time to be tempted to upgrade as there was (and still is) nothing wrong with my old brush but overall I would commend this model as an... (read more)

Overall I would recommend this toothbrush to my friends and family (or anyone who is looking for a electric toothbrush). It was my first electric toothbrush so I cant compare it to any other ones, but its good for me and I would NEVER go back to a regular toothbrush again. (read more)

Have bought 4 of these and each charger has packed in - two of these after the initial charge. Judging from the Braun site, this appears to be very common. I'd avoid this like the plague. The brush is fine, but the charger is rubbish.
