Good Points: I can't think of any good points. Well maybe the collar gives the ticks a shelter from the rain?

Bad Points: This collar is completely useless for tick control, completely useless!!

General comments: I have three small dogs and have recently moved to an area that has ticks. I went and purchased 3 Hartz 2 in 1 collars to keep the ticks off, or at least to kill them if they get on the dogs. Since we put them on (following the instructions given) they have proven to be a complete waste of money. 1 of our dogs had 8 ticks on its head after one walk and each of our 2 longer haired dogs has had continuous tick problems.

I went to the Hartz website to give them my opinion, but I guess they are not interested in hearing from customers as there is no direct email to send complaints to.

I hope this helps anyone who needs tick protection for there pets to not make the same mistake I did.

It is useful for night reflection. Unfortunately, it is useless for ticks and fleas.

We've removed 5 ticks since we put the Hartz Control Reflective Flea Collar on the dog.

Apart from using a Hartz Control Reflective Flea Collar to keep an id tag on it, is useless at controlling fleas/mites etc.
