“Well my greyhounds, who have very sensitive stomachs,...”

Well my greyhounds, who have very sensitive stomachs, have done extremely well on this food. I have paid an absolute fortune for Burns, James Wellbeloved, etc. which made my their problems much worse by causing extremely runny stools and terrible flatulence due to their oats, and supposedly healthy ingredients.

My dogs had far better results with Tesco complete dry food mixed with Tesco tinned food to add moisture, instead of using water.

Needless to say, I am happier in the pocket and they are healthier all round, which is the most important thing.

“Tesco Premium Dog Food Chunks In Jelly - This review...”

Tesco Premium Dog Food Chunks In Jelly - This review is my opinion based on the reaction of my dog to this food. I haven't reviewed the ingredients or the nutritious analysis because I can't, I'm not an expert on dog nutrition and my dog didn't try enough of it for me to comment on his health and wellbeing after a period of testing.

My 12 year old Border Collie, Barney, has been known to eat anything; we are yet to find a brand of food that he wont try, have caught him devouring entire tubs of E45 lotion and have had to drag him away from mouldy food found at roasdsides and dead animals in canals. But can we get him to eat Tesco dog food? No. He won't even taste it, the smell alone sends him fleeing to the top of the yard. We tried putting it out for a few days hoping that if he was hungry enough then he would try a little, but he made it clear that he would rather starve. This makes me wonder what the hell Tesco put in their so-called food if Barney, a dog who doesn't turn his nose up at even the cheapest of chubbs, won't eat it?

Besides that, it smells terrible and stunk our kitchen out for hours after opening the can.

I've given it one point because of the price and the fact that it is widely available, but this dog food has no other redeeming qualities and, on the basis that there are similar priced supermarket brands that I consider to be more palatable and nutritious, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My border terrier, aged 10, would only eat Tesco Chunks in Gravy with Lamb or with chicken or with beef. He has recently stopped eating this and I wonder if the recipe has been altered? and anyway, what are the chunks - chunks of what exactly? I assume the description "with lamb" with ...etc refers to added flavouring. Something has happened to cause him to refuse to eat this tinned food, any ideas what?
