Paid £9500 for 9people. Booked 9 months ago. Told yesterday holiday to eygpt at the water park was not available. Tried to get us to pay £2000 more for a mother holiday. Told them they are the worst company I have delt with. Will never walk into there shop again. Got full refund. Wast of my time, they will take your money and give you utter bad service. (read more)

I have booked a holiday to Florida for three week the service when I first booked was excellent but since then it has gone down hill. Surprises for my sons froth coming 13 birthday Park tickets I did not get what I paid I had a rude manger of the store talked to me like something off his shoe he was so arrogant I was in flood of tears. first time it has come to this here goes having booked a holiday to the Occidental Grand in Punta Cana on the Dominican Republic what was supposed to be a 5 * hotel on there recommendation turned out more 3 * a run down hotel with poor food also pre booked seats at a cost of £75 which we did not get finished by having watch stolen from room hotel not interested reported to travel agent on day of return and filed complaint waited over 28 days with no reply went back in to be told that email... Holiday Hypermarket use expensive travel companies .. i.e. Falcon Naama Star Hotel, Sharm El Sheik, 9 nights 29th December B&B... on here through Cosmos £736 pp..exact same holiday on Teletext Holidays is £557 !!! quite a difference! (read more)

I booked a holiday to Morocco on the website (same holiday was £107 extra on Firstchoice site). My confirmation of booking appeared straight away by e-mail, paperwork came through the post 4 days later. I noticed I had booked a room that had a connecting door. I hadn't intended to (knowing that these can sometimes be noisy). I sent an e-mail to customer services to see if I could rectify this. I have just returned from a 6 day break to krakow in Poland my student son booked everything for me with Holidayhypermarket I never had a moments worry all my documents were Emailed on the same day as I booked my hotel voucher and flights were all in order upon arriving in krakow a private Taxi was waiting to transfer me to the hotel upon leaving the same service was provided to me a taxi picked me up and brought me straight to airport what a service for £16 return a lot of... I booked with holiday hypermarket online in early May to go in late June. I rang the customer service before booking to check prices had not changed and they said if it goes through and gives you confirmation you get the cheaper internet price and no prices will be added it will tell you if it hasn't gone through due to prices. Online booking system works ok. But just try getting in touch with them afterwards e.g. to make the final payment... takes hours. If/When you do get through (this alone took me more than 10 goes over the period of 3 weeks), they aren't helpful. It's taken me 3 weeks just to try & get a receipt for my holiday. staff not very helpful their "great prices" not very great, not happy when we gave countries we did not want to go to, after all it's our holiday.
don't listen to them about their special car parking rates at the airports it's more expensive than booking direct as they charge for using credit card.
their special exchange rates for being a costumer turned out to be lower than a local shop.
no phone call to tell us our paperwork was ready to be picked up. don't try and phone them the outside...

Myself and a friend used the Holiday Hypermarket on Kingswood in Hull to book a holiday to Greece, 4 adults, 2 children. Our booking were taken by Dean. We were quoted a price and so continued to book it, however Dean had missed off our childrens prices, so the price went up by £60. We asked if he could do the holiday for the first price quoted, as this was not our mistake. Dean replied 'if you dont like it, then book it somewhere else'. Stay clear from this company, I went in the Warrington branch yesterday to buy some Euro's, the girl behind the counter told me the exchange rate was 1.02 and it is the same everywhere, I bought £500 woth of Euro's and got 510.
I then went straight into town where the lowest exchange rate I could find was 1.07 and the highest 1.11, I basically lost out on 40 Euro's, they robbed me of £30, I went in to complain and they offered me £370 for my Euro's that I had only bought 18 hours previous,...

I have booked quite a few holidays with www.holidayhypermarket.co.uk safe in the knowledge that as they are part of the Thomson/FirstChoice (TUI) group if anything went wrong my money was safe. It's sad that people complain without thought. Websites that sell holidays from other operators are sometimes at the mercy of outside forces. Booked an apartment in Orlando for next April. All went thru OK on the Holiday Hypermarket web site.... took payment on my card.... then rang next day to say no availability!!! Booked to go to Marmaris Turkey with Holiday Hypermarket , was promised a seaview and on the phone we doubled checked this point , only to find out it isn,t a seaview at all , was offered 56 pounds in compensation , no apology at all , we didn't accept and have taken the matter further . My partner is registered disabled and will stop in room when she is in pain , thats why room with seaview was important to us . booked a holiday online with holiday hypermarket, paid online with agreed price. recieved email to say if i dont get an email to say it was processed then to contact them after 48 hrs. next day no contact so i phoned,was told system was down and not too worry someone would definately phone within 48 hrs. Ive had an extremely frustrating time with Holiday Hypermarket and feel like i have been cheated. We were promised a family orientated resort, but Festival Village was dirty, and unless you slept in reception, we were not told about the 90 Euro room deposit. This was the first time we used Holiday Hypermarket, and I was so impressed. We wanted a last minute deal that was hassle free, and we got one. The girl who I spoke to was really helpful, and she gave me lots of advice on where to eat and where to stay away from. She even gave me directions on how to get to certain places to make our trip easier, and everything she told us was spot on. I booked my holiday in Turkey with Holiday Hypermarket. I found a few holidays on their website and rang up. The girl I spoke to gave me some pretty good advice about the place I went to (Kusadasi). I went to Ephesus, and I thought it was amazing. I would probably book with them again.
They do have loads of different holidays on the Holiday Hypermarket web site, so it's worth checking.

This is the first time that I have booked with Holiday Hypermarket and I was very impressed!
I haven't been on the holiday yet, but I was so happy with the service that I had to comment.
The web site was very helpful and easy to use.
The lady at Reservations has to be the most helpful lady I have

We went to Fort Kinaird First Choice Holiday Hypermarket in January 2005 to book our family summer holiday. We stated we would like an all inclusive.
