First of all this is one bloody tough bike. I have the 100cc good acceleration. The previous owner had 2 high impact crashes into another car head on but there is no damage at all! I myself am a mechanic and know my bit when it comes to bikes, I have to say despite the single arm it is really tough. This bike has also been sliding down roads on its side from the crashes and does have some deep scratches all along both side but the bike is mechanically sound, in fact these crashes have... Just bought a well looked after speedfight 2 100cc, it's never been crashed or owned by a teenager, the previous owner was a thirty year old man who had a 1200cc fireblade he just found the speedfight to be great value for money in comparison, and he's right, it gets you from A to B fast and efficiently, however after owning the bike for 24hrs the crankshaft went. It is going to require a complete engine rebuild and there was nothing anyone could have done to prevent it. This just goes to... (read more)

had my speedfight 100cc for 12 months now and its been completely reliable and great fun i'm in my thirties, and got fed up with it taken me nearly an hour to get back from work in the car it now takes 30mins max and costs a whole lot less getting 80 mpg travelling through town and not half as tired when i get home like i said fun.
I fitted a 37cm sports screen to keep the weather off abit and it works when your moving keeping the cold and rain off upto my helmet(i'm 5ft 8)and i was amazed... (read more)

I got my SpeedFight 2 100cc as a step up from a 50cc Trekker moped at 17, and the power difference is really quite noticeable. Really fun to ride although i didnt ever feel 100% safe with the single-sided front suspension so that has been swapped for a pair of Trekker front forks which i feel improves the handling greatly. My only concern is the speed of my bike, its de-restricted, has an aftermarket exhaust, different rollers and a polini clutch and it does accelerate quite rapidly, it tops... (read more)

I bought an X reg (1999) speedfight (1) 100cc and it's been a good bike for me. It is very handy for getting to and from college, and i think it looks class. Either there's something wrong with mine or it just likes a drink, but the petrol on mine goes like no-ones business. I don't ride like a maniac, it just guzzles up a full tank in a week, easily. It flys all the way up to 50mph in no time, but won't go any faster (it's all standard). Bit embarassing when you have got friends that have... (read more)

I've had 2 Peugot Speedfight 100cc, and id give them 10/10 any day, they're fast, good acceleration and comfortable. i mean fair enough things do go wrong but thats only if you dont look after them, with my first one i treated it like rubbish and it turned into rubbish, but with this one its been different iv looked after it and its doing me well. i do recomend on getting a race pipe on it as the standard exhaust dont let it have its full performance. once you get a decent pipe it will do... Had my speedfight 2 100cc Rally Victories for 2 years, and all in all it's not a bad little machine, acceleration is great (compared to the 50cc speedfight) and mine tops out at 62mph and is completely standard, but i am 6'5 and 17 stone. Last year i had a custom Ducati Moto GP race paint job and decals and it looks so menacing, it really is the best looking scooter out there. (read more)

I love these bikes that much i have had 3 now. Came down from a Yamaha FZS600 Fazer to one of these and still think there great. The 1999 model was realy fast as standard 60+, the 2002 x-race was water cooled and ok but the one I just bought now seems quite quick too, 2005 speedfight 2 100cc silver-sport. only thing is the wheels and variator covers etc are aluminium and qxidize very quick.
All in all this would be my first choice in a ped!
This will do till summer when I get the new KTM 660 sm. (read more)

This is a really good ped. when I went to collect it from watford and rode back to london on the A41 (22.5miles) I loved every minute of it. It only cost me £600 to purchase and the insurance is either £340.00 third party just for myself or £395.00 for me and my dad so it is quite cheap. The only bad thing is that after my total journey from watford to london (which was about 26miles as I got lost and took some detours I rinsed 1/2 tank of petrol). Even though the tank only takes less... (read more)

Bought a rally victories Peugeot Speedfight from J and S Accessories.
I dont know if I got the friday night bike but its rubbish. It will not push over 50mph back brakes are rubbish, it drinks petrol like its going out of fashion (filled up a full tank done 60km and it used half a tank).
It rattles like mad at 50mph.
This bike to me seems a unstable at top speed and shakes badly.
I don't rate this bike at all. Was looking at getting a jetforce but been told the injectors keep going on them.... (read more)

I have a Speedfight 2 100cc rally victories for about 4 months now and I have loved every minute of it.
I got the scooter for £1700 new put the best thing about it was the speed it could do even when its a standerd moped 64mph.
I have just added a 120cc bore kit and a Vivacity trekker buxy PM exhaust what looks so cool on the bike and of course the exhaust is derestricted. Max speed I have had it to is: 87mph. NO LIE. I think it could do more if the roads for longer. (read more)

I've bought the Speedfight after previous 2 year ownership of 4 stroke Honda Lead 100. First impression was outstanding. Comparable to Lead was Speedfight great looking, 2 stroke engine has power, which 4T Lead 100 cannot have. Now, after one year of experience and about 4000 kilometres driven I can write little bit more about Speedfight 100.

The Peugeot Speedfight 2 is a very nice sporty scooter. Ideal for short distances. Gets you there very fast. In two years of ownership I had only change 1 back tyre and brake pads. Filling up the tank once a week was doing the job for me. Made 10,000 miles in two years without hesitation. Unfortunately I have to change it because I will have to travel a longer distance every day, but I wouldn't mind to have it for a bit longer. (read more)

I think the only thing that I dont like about the Peugeot Speedfight 2 is the quotes you get from insurance companies. When I got my bike the cheapest quote I got was with MCE Insurance at £518.30 Third Party, Fire and Theft, but every thing on the Speedfight 2 is 10 out of 10.
Control, stability, acceleration, speed, weight, traction with the best tyres me personaly I like the Michellin Pilots.
Topping it off with the nice susspension springs giving you a nice comforting ride. (read more)

The Peugeot Speedfight 2 100cc is really a good bike, gets me from A to B on a full tank of petrol for quite a bit with ease. I have had a lot of problems with this bike though. e.g. The kickstart always breaks so have to be replaced (replaced twice already) I also had to have a new electric start put on and my bike is in the garage yet again for a new fan belt and piston in the back wheel. Other than this its a really great ride. Much better than the 50cc and so much smoother and not... (read more)

Peugeot Speedfight 2 100cc Scooter
Without a shadow of doubt the best looking scooter around. Flawless styling and Very good MPG are just two of the many good points about this scooter. The only bad points so far are the tiny fuel tank which only holds 7.2 litres of fuel, the mirrors and a bit of a dodgy automatic choke which can prevent you from opening up the throttle for the first 400 metres. There is space under the seat for a small full face helmet. But in my opinion this should have... (read more)

My Speedfight 2 is a 100cc which has been bored out to a 120. It has a Arrow carbon fibre race pipe on it. I have had it dinajetted, I had the piston skimed last month and I have a race clutch on it. It is the fastest moped I have been on, it beats Gillera runner 125s. I think it is one of the best looking mopeds around to. Mine has a top speed of about 85mph, but the speedfight 100cc standard do about 60- 65 mph. even as a standard scooter, they are very fast. much faster than the 50s.... (read more)

I've had a Speedfight2 100cc for over a year now and have been very happy with it. I bought it from new and have covered about 2000 trouble free miles. I did have a problem with the electric start a couple of months ago, but the dealer I bought it from changed the whole unit under the warranty without quibbling.
I specifically bought the bike to replace a car for my commute to work and I can honestly say it was one of the best purchases I ever made. The bike has quite a tight turning circle... (read more)
