I opened a credit account with Simply Be in February 2013 and was quite surprised at being given a limit of £125 due to having a previously poor credit rating so was quite pleased I could begin repairing it. I ordered and had delivered an average in quality chest of drawers. I received my first statement and paid half of the balance immediately. Simply Be are your average catalogue company. If you are smart with what you buy and how you pay it off they can never come after you for any more money. Their delivery service is OK, takes on average 2 days for my items to be delivered which is fine for me. But you can't rely on the service as there are always outside influences (weather etc) just like with the Post Office and any other delivery service. Never received my items despite being charged for them and delivery costs. Then when I complain, they send me a letter that I have to return to them so they can investigate but I have to pay to return the letter! It might only be the cost of a stamp but why should I pay when I have already been charged for my items and delivery and then they don't arrive. For the first time ever, I've dragged myself into the 21st century and placed an order online. I ordered a selection of items from Simply B - all in stock - and paid a premium for next day delivery. It's now 3 days later and no sign of my order...however it should be with me within the next 3 days = total 6 days! These nighties come in great colours. They are a nice length and a good fit apart from the necklines. I gave one star less for the huge gaping necks which I have had to alter, the nighty was constantly slipping off my shoulders until I made the alteration. They lost another star for the writing all over them, had they been v neck and without the totally unnecessary text, which adds nothing to the design, then it would have been five stars. (read more)

You got off lucky. My order came straight away and a cheaper, sleazier, more ill-fitting load of rags I have never seen. The few things I chose not to return are hanging in my closet, never to be worn. Also returns are very difficult with a large order...one item might have 3 different names.

This company is a scam and I wish I'd come here and read the terrible reviews first. Their stuff is cheaply made, you'll get charged a fee by Customs, it takes forever to arrive and then if you return the items they will not refund any of your money. It's impossible to get hold of anyone by phone and they will not respond to any of my countless emails. For the second time in as many months they have failed to deliver items I ordered a couple of months ago. I checked to see if the order that I was told to expect this week was on its way only to find it had been cancelled without anyone telling me. I now need to check they have reinbursed me as I have not been emailed to that effect. Absolutely useless customer service and I am now so frustrated I feel I won't use them again.

I've had an account with them since 2006 and have never had any major issues. Shipping times are usually fine. Once I paid for Next Day delivery but the courier messed up (very obvious from the parcel tracking info) they refunded me the difference in shipping costs immediately one I requested them to via email. They do bother you over the phone occasionally when you don't order for a while and you account is paid off. They'll offer you discounts and whatnot to place an order right there... (read more)

The shipping is VERY SLOW! You have to wait weeks for an item, if you receive it at all! The first time I tried them was almost 3 years ago and I ordered two pair of jeans. I received a catalog in the mail stating that Simply Be is "now in the US." Great, never heard of them but the clothes in the catalog looked fantastic. It's 2012. Why on earth should any doing business primarily on the internet take upwards of 3-4 weeks to deliver goods. Completely unacceptable. And they don't tell you this when you place your order. They hint that your items will arrive within 7-10 days from "dispatch from our warehouse". The style of clothes are great, and the I love that they have cool jeans for tall people - and with inseams at 34"-35" - true tall, not the 32"-33" I commonly find. I've found the jeans to be top quality but the tops medium quality for what a person pays for them. If the review were based on the clothes alone, I would have given 4 stars. I ordered a two piece outfit back in April or May. As soon as I ordered, I found out it was on back order. No other info and communication. Finally emailed them and they said it would be 5/31 for a ship date. No communication beyond that. I just received it today 6/24!!! I waited all this time an it doesn't even look like it did in the photo catalog and the fabric is awful. Oh and to top it is off, it is on sale now! I will not order from this company ever again. I placed an order with Simply Be in preparation for a trip. I received one of four items before my trip. The pants I received split 12 inches while I was on my trip. Quality was horrible and poorly sewn. The remaining items have finally shown up 3 weeks after I placed the order with a note attached that I need to pay $44 for postage before my mail carrier can give me the package.
