“Payment verification black hole”

Avoid online purchases at all costs. They accept the order (except they claim it is not an 'order' but 'an offer to make an order' so can do what they want), take money from your account, but then put order on hold indefinitely for authorization of payment. They also claim (find it hard to believe) that a third party company carries out this verification process and that they have no way of knowing how long it might take. Ordered a pair of timberland boots online and paid for express delivery, waited around 5 days and still nothing. Contacted footlocker customer service via telephone and they could you tell me why my order had not been shipped and the status was still pending, the money left my bank on the day i ordered so they had my cash, they advised me to wait another couple of days and log on to check the status, I did this but it had not changed, this was now 10 days from when i should have had the... “Refusal to refund / Their mistake”

I shopped at the Clackamas Mall Footlocker in Oregon USA. They had a sale on a pair of shoes and they didn't have my size. So they ordered them from a different store to have them delivered to their store. The sales associate neglected to enter their own store address correctly. Needless to say I get a call from UPS and they can't deliver the shoes to the store. I call the Footlocker store and they say they will straighten it out. “lack of customer service ”

I ordered shoes from Footlocker and they immediately charged my credit card as I payed with pay pal. Four days later I was informed by an email that they did not have my shoes and after 2 phone calls to their rude customer service reps who give you lame excuses, I still have not been refunded my money a week later. I now am filing a dispute through pay pal. This is my first experience with Foot Locker and it will certainly be my last. (read more)

Oxford street.... stay clear... place is overcrowded, ghetto loud music, long queues with unhelpful staff. told I could not get a refund on an unwore item 2 days after buying, had to have a gift card. Lewisham ... wanted to buy tracksuit bottoms with a gift card... took cashier 20 minutes to process as till was playing up. no other staff around to help as other one was talking to his friends on the phone (read more)

Bought a pair Nike shoes from their Footlocker outlet at 363-367 Oxford Street, W1C 2SA London on 12th June 2012. After coming home found the shoes a bit uncomfortable, a bit tight. So on 14th June I went back again and asked the shoes to be replaced or money refunded. They looked at the shoe sole very very carefully and managed to discover a speck of mud. And refuded. So i bought some Nike air maxes that cost $160. So i have them for like a week and then the air pocket like busts or gets cut or something. So I went back to the Footlcker i bought them at and they wouldn't give me my money back. The person said that i cut the air pockets So since i "caused the air pocket to break" they give me my $160 back. AVOID this store at Barton Creek. The employee/Manager Jeff was not only rude and dishonest, he was insulting and HUMILIATING.

Do not go to this store if you do not want to be subject to:

--- Being insulted in front of other customers
--- Being rejected for a legitimate return
--- Being rejected for a legitimate exchange
--- Being lied to on the phone.

One of the reps in the Newport mall gave me a very bad time trying to return a pair of shoes that I brought from 33rd Street, NY. I had to go all the way back to NY to return. Just purchased a pair of shoes at one of the Footlocker stores in Ontario Mills Outlet today. The service at the first hand was disappointing. Not nice at the first hand. (did not want to buy the product from them, but luckily-or sadly- it was the one I was looking for)
Noticed that the sales assistant gave me the wrong size pair. Hoping to exchange it at the nearest footlocker instead of driving all the way back to Ontario, I asked if it was possible to do so. They said it was impossible.... (read more)

I bought 3 pair of trainers in Footlocker in the Florida Mall while on holiday from Ireland, unfortunately I did not check the contents of the box until I was giving them to my son on my return from holidays to discover that the employee who served me gave me two completely different shoes.I rang the store at my own expense to be told they can't ship a shoe, and there is nothing they could do. I regularly buy my sport apparel and trainers from Footlocker. On my first occasion since shopping at Footlocker I went in for a refund for some trainers, which the person I bought them for didn't like, but the customer service was absolutely awful. I will not shop at Footlocker again. (read more)

I found this review helpful because...it confirms my own opinion of footlocker, we can't all be wrong. I think a training course on customer services and a smile would help.

A year ago I bought my son a pair of basketball trainers and cleaning spray on the same receipt. After a few weeks they began to squeak really loudly in one shoe. When I returned them the manageress insisted that they had been put in a washing machine because they still smelt fresh and it was apparently the only reason that trainers squeak, either that or a very deep puddle. Footlocker have a very large range of clothes and trainers, track suites and shoes, and also the quality of the items you buy 99.9% of the time is very good.

Customer service could be a bit better because there are usually very long waiting times in queues. Maybe they could put another desk in or hire a few more staff.

Footlockers returns policy is the worse I have ever seen.

Having bought a pair of white Nike trainers from Footlocker I had to return them to the store in Edinburgh to get the next size up, The staff, especially the Manager were totally unhelpful to the point of rudeness.
