I bought my r77 5 years ago and shot a lot for the first two years. Then due to frequent moving I packed it in a box and didn't touch it for a long time until recently, when I decided to revive my old hobby of air gun shooting. It was burried deep in storage and long story short, aside from some much needed cleaning it still shoots great. Then about a month ago the gun wouldn't hold any CO2 no more and vented like mad when I tried to put in a new canister. On close look the o-ring on the co2 in ...

I bought this revolver second hand from a Gunsmith and I have not regretted buying it. The first pellets stuck in the barrel so I cleaned the barrel bore with oiled cotton pellets and it has worked well since. The first pellets I used were match pellets and they needed a clean barrel bore because the pellets were a tight fit. I found the trigger pull too strong at first and it took me a couple of days to become used to it. Now with the Air Arms pellets the R-77 produces pleasing results. If the ...

O.K. If you get one and it does not work it would be my suggestion to send it back. I fixed mine just to see what the problem was, but I have been working on my own airguns for 10 years and if you are not experienced with high pressure systems or airguns you can easily hurt yourself. From the package the barrel was loose and it could not even push a pellet out of the cylinder with a new Co2 cylinder installed. I was dissapointed but not supprised since I had read the reviews before I purchas ...

The Gamo R77 Combat has good handling, is fairly accurate with iron sights. Not loud, but not too powerful. In my opinion it has a poor construction of laser cap. I am unable to get the battery cap to snap back into place. There was no hex wrench included with mine so I am unable to comment on the laser sight.

The Gamo R77 Combat has good handling. In my opinion it is fairly accurate with iron sights. Not too loud, but then again I do not think it is very powerful. In my opinion it has poor construction. I was unable to get the battery cap to snap back into place after inserting batteries for laser operation. There was no hex wrench included to adjust the laser sight. In my experience the customer support was poor.

Having just purchased the gun i was very eager to use it. First impressions were good, the gun looked nice and replicated the operation of a firearm very closely. The additional laser, which is activated by a button on the grip of the gun, also impressed me. However once i began to fire a few rounds i noticed that shots were not very accurate and power was low. Naturally i thought the CO2 must have ran out so i replaced it but this made no difference. As i continued to fire shots i noticed that ...

I have had my Gamo R77 combat for a year and have fired hundreds of rounds through it, I get about 32 rounds at good power when shoting a a metal target holder from 10 yards the pellets are flattened then the power drops off, power is low but it is no lower then any other CO2 gun on single action I can get one inch groups. I also own a walther PPK, a Crossman Baretter and have just ordered a Makarov all CO2 these are all good fun plinking guns

I bought Gamo R77 Combat on Feb.01 2005 at the same time with the Gamo V3. R77 looks nice and handles very nice. Very nice with fully adjustable rear sight. Now comes the real test on the chrono. The first shot was 139.4fps, second was 139.6fps, third was 219.0, forth was 151.8 what a heck is going on here. The highest I got was 288.6 and drop as low as 93.1 fps. I thought it was the CO2 was not good, so I change with another fresh one and no different the highest was 295.5 and the lowest was 94 ...

I got the Gamo R77 Combat about 2 years, ago and it was broken in a month, got me real upset, if this gun did not break I would probably give it a 9/10 rating. But on the plus side, it seemed to be a real revolver except that it runs on pellets.

I bought the Gamo R77 Combat a while back now and it cost me a lot of money. The total cost was £100 pounds then the cost for co2 capsules. But after spending my hard earned money I went out to try it in the garden. I was dissapointed to see the pellets dropping and giving no real power. After shooting 20-30 shots I went in feeling ripped off. The same week I took the gun back to the local shop to exchange it. I told the gunsmith that it was loosing power and I thought that it was a faulty ...

I got my Gamo r77 a while back and was very dissapointed. It lacked powerand accuracy. I was so dissapointed that after a week I took it back because I thought I must have a faulty gun due to the performance lacking so much. I got it replaced and was shocked to find a repeat of before. I have a Beretta bb gun and this has more powewr and accuracy!!!. Eventually I ended up part exchanging it with cash for a Webley Nemesis pistol. This was cheaper to look after(no co2 canisters)The overall perform ...

The Gamo R77 Combat gun is ok but uses co2 very quickly considering the lack of power. I think it is no more powerful than a powerful bb gun. It is not worth the effort or money and the butterfly catch at the bottom comes off sometimes an it is 10-40 pounds to fix it. This has happened twice with me and recently I got so cross with it I threw it in the bin. Only beginner gunners should try this.

Gamo R77 4 Review in CO2 Pistols at Review Centre
The Gamo R77 4" Combat revolver is good quality for its price range. It is good for shooting pepsi cans but it won't go through a tin can (but that is typical of all co2 repeating air pistols).
