    About to go to the US in just over 8 days, after booking a 'Best Of The West' touring 15 night holiday with Dial A Flight some considerable time ago. Still not received any hotel vouchers or actual itinerary, as promised before i booked and payed my hard earned cash. Indeed, since booking, D-A-F have not once called me at any time to discuss any of our holiday arrangements. I have had to call them to check details etc. I called today enquiring after my hotel vouchers and itinerary, as promised at the time of booking, to no avail, but apparently fobbed off instead. Told they are going to call me tomorrow to sort out. Fingers firmly crossed, but NEVER AGAIN !!!

    We'd been told by friends who work in the travel industry that the best time to book flights is the exact day they go on sale, so in August 08 we kept calling Dial A Flight to book flights to Miami for August 09 but kept getting told to ring the following day. The day they finally went on sale we rang Dial A Flight, was quoted £388 per person - brilliant. Paid a deposit and waited for paperwork.     Was told by friend in the travel industry that the best time to book flights is on the day they go on sale, so around mid August 08 kept calling Dial A Flight to book flights to Miami for August 09.     I have been in the travel industry for some time now at London Heathrow and even I cannot beat the prices that dialaflight give me for my business travel. I have read through the above reviews and there are a few things that I would like to make you aware of in regards to travel!! - - You cannot change a name on a ticket regardless of the excuse, all tickets are non-transferable or we could just buy then and change it all the time.     A true test of a company's quality is how they deal with your flight when something goes wrong. For this, Dialaflight are the most incompetent company I have ever used. I booked flights with Dialaflight for me and my family to go to Thailand in December 08'. However, the week before our departure date, the Dialaflight rep called me to cancel our flights due to the protests in Thailand's main airport.     We booked to go to USA last year and the adviser was excellent. Unfortunately we had to change our travel arrangements a number of times, but our adviser was sooo good and nothing was too much trouble for her. We have been very impressed with the servive provided by Dial a flight and would definately recommend anyone using them.

    Thank you, we are due to go on our hols in May - can't wait.

    They would not allow a cancellation without complete loss, even six weeks before. They would not even allow a name change. My wife is ill, we look to lose £ 800. No help from dial a flight at all. Have a friend who would love to come in her stead and cannot! I do not recommend using Dial A Flight.

    I do not understand people who write reviews saying they never have tickets, is everyone so stupid to think that you can get an unlimited number of seats or that travel agents buy then re-sell seats! A Plane has only so many tickets and so many seats not everyone can get what they want. People do need to wake up! I dealt with Theo he was very helpful and even checked to tell me when the seats advertised became available as they were not on the day I wanted to travel, so I guess if we are more fl ...

    I have travelled with dial=a=flight since l998 to and from USA/ I always ask for the same agent. Prices very reasonable from the airport I want to the seat on the plane I want, and in an emergency a decent hotel at a good price. Paperwork arrives in good time.
    I have given up trying other agents, I start with dial-a-flight and have always got what I want.

    They promised to answer the phone in five seconds and it was picked up immediately before the phone rang. Their web ste also tells you who has stayed at each hotel and if they are in the office so you can speak to someone who has been there.
    I would use them again. I was very impressed.

    I just did a search on their website and found a good price for a flight. When I phoned he said that flight wasn't available. I said that I had just seen it on the web site after doing a search and he said that we only put the best price, not if its available. I asked what's the point of putting a best price if its not available, if it's not available then it can't be classed as your best price.
    He did however offer me another price which was more than double the price.

    Dreadful never ever will I use this company again. Shocking dial a flight will not touch ever again the sales team where useless only want to flog you most expensive deal. Afterwards if you need help they dont want to know, they advertised the exact holiday i booked 600.00 cheaper 3 months later and told me tough and said i could cancel but they would keep my 800.00 deposit so beware do not give them big deposit as they will keep it all if you try to cancel.

    No matter how cheap I will never use Dialaflight again and in the end we only saved £50 compared to BA.

    Simple easy to use and cheap, there is nothing bad for me to say about Dialaflight they have been a pleasure to use! Well recommend to anyone looking for a travel website.

    I have used dial a flight two years ago for a trip to Las vegas, they arranged everything.......fantastic service.....especially a girl call Helen, she was excellent at her job ( I'd changed the hotel 3 times!). This year we are doing L.A. and Las Vegas......with dialaflight......of course!!!!!

    I am amazed only 1 or 2 have mentioned this.I have tried to fly to New York with them on many occasions and no matter how early or late i enquire the prices quoted on website are never the same by a mile.
    Excuse is that the flights are sold out even at off peak season and booking months ahead !
    I personally will not deal with such a shady company that somehow are always out of tickets for that fare quoted on website but seems to have many more expensive tickets for the same flight.

    Its down to luck who picks up the phone at Dialaflight some staff will bend over backwards to get you the perfect holiday!

    I was impressed with Dialaflight right from the beginning. My call was answered after the second ring, the person I spoke to was extremely polite and knowledgeable and I they really did go out of their way to help put together all areas of my holiday, I needed tours, hotels and cars all over the place and they did it without any problems at all. They were cheaper than anyone else but to be honest even if they had have been a bit more expensive I think i would have booked with them purely because ...

    Constantly chased Dialaflight for seating/meal requests on flights & check in time confirmation with hotel. Did it myself in the end - it was very easy, they are just lazy.
