When returning a item at Windsor new look in store the manager was rude and treated me like she was better than me. When I asked why I had removed a tag wich I had stated I had done and wondered if that would effect my getting a refund she replied with a attitude "why would you do that if you knew you were going to return it. I paid 4,95 for alternative delivery, where you choose a specific day for the order to be delivered, I had taken the day of work so I could be there and nothing. Tracking was useless as it had not been updated and customer services were less than helpful. So, at first I thought this was just an unlucky experience, but no: I've ordered from New Look quite a few times now and every time I order it's expensive (£4+) and super slow (5-12 days average). 99% of other stores deliver within 1-3 days and have either free delivery or at a decent price (£1-£2). I love newlook in store. They have plently of choice and are generally affordable. I've never bought anything online but I have tried! Everything I want they never have in stock in my size, and size 8 to 10 isn't exactly uncommon! Constantly order products for click and collect to be partially refunded later with no email or explanation of what you are being refunded for. Have also ordered in the normal way and the website thanks you for your order. No confirmation email is then sent- the order mysteriously disappears and the product now out of stock once more. New Look has always been one of my favourite shops but had weirdly never used their online shop before. I made an order a few weeks ago and I was gutted when the order took over a week to get to me despite the 2-3 day delivery estimate. As I do not live in the U.K. I am expected to pay postage both ways in order to return shoes. I live in the United States and was so happy to find a site that sells nice, cheap clothing. I was so excited, I ordered about $58 worth of items to get free international shipping. It was really my fault for not realizing that I should've converted the currency to US dollars, so I actually spent way more than I intended to. I guess £58 equals to $90. I just phoned two new look stores one that answered by a "hello" in a "can't be bothered with you" tone and the other when asked if she could check if there was a top in stock said to me "cool. 2 secs." whilst I waited 5 minutes to find her coming back to the phone saying "we don't have the top" with no apology. I went into store and they didn't want the pair of shoes I wanted in stock in my size, went to the front desk and asked if I could place an order for delievery. It was no bother and i could also pay cash. I ordered at about 7pm on the Saturday evening and they were delivered first thing Monday moring. 2 weeks ago I made an order on their website for value of 70 euros and was so happy about avoiding the shops and difficulties of finding the right sizes of clothes and all (plus size ranges aren't really good in stores). I got a newlook card last summer thinking it was a good idea as the lady that worked there bugged it up so much I thought I would get one. What a mistake! Order promised in shop after two days. Three weeks, several phone calls and 7 messages later no one has got back to me and order still not arrived. You cannot claim a refund unless you return the items but as they don't arrive you cannot do this, and as you cannot get a response from customer service you are left frustrated and out of pocket. Horrible client service, have to wait extremely long for a reply, and usually you don't even get a reply at all.
