“Disappointed”

I recently ordered a cot bed for my lo and rang up after the 10days to get an update...no one was able to trace my order which was made in store and paid for with cash...my husband received a phone call the following day to say they had to re order and that it would be in store within 3-4 working days...so after the four working days I rang the store to be told that it will take yet another 10days...so when I told them I wanted a refund we were told we couldn't have a refund until the item was… Read Full Review

I recently bought a cosatto travel sytem from Mothercare. When you bought the system, you received a free car seat. My little girl arrived on 17/12/15 at 4.46am. My husband went to my parents house (where the travel system was being kept) to collect the car seat so we could take our baby home, to find that there was no car seat! “No standalone breastfeeding facility ”

I went to mothercare store at the Festival Park in Stoke on Trent to buy a car seat for my baby which is a high involvement product. Since I knew I was going to a breast feeding friendly store feeding my baby was least of my worries. At the store it took us a long time to find the right car seat. I decided to feed my baby in the baby feeding room before heading out to do further shopping. The worst customer service. The new Mothercare roam pushchair has a faulty car seat. Be careful to check yours if you are buying. Getting the company to reply to any of my enquiries with any answers at all is turning out to be a major task. Every reply is dismissive and designed to infuriate to make me give up! The strap gets stuck when you pull it to tighten. You have to reach round the back or underneath the seat to slacken it so you can pull the strap through the front to tighten the harness. It's a pain. Also check that the two straps for each arm are the same length. I had my first car seat replaced because one strap was longer than the other. A member of staff admitted in the store that there was a problem with tightening the straps and even said my first car seat was not safe. It was only apparent when my baby was in the seat. We put baby in a few in the shop and they had the same problem. They said they would need to call head office and said they were worried they might have to recall. They may have addressed the issues with their car seat now...i bought mine 3 months ago. My advice is check it with your baby in before you drive anywhere.

I bought my pushchair from Mothercare in July 2014. 12 months later it developed a problem with the breaks so I took it to get repaired. They asked me to take the chair part away with me and offered me a dirty stroller as a temporary replacement. I refused the dirty stroller and told them I couldn't take the chair away with me as I had travelled by bus. We bought from mothercare mamaroo swing ; we asked staff how long we need wait been told 3 working days; I decide ro go johne Lewis as there I wpuld have next day delivery, but been convinced by staff that they will do fast to; now we 4 day call the shop and customers service and hear tjat should come by tomorrow and blame the wearhouse; not even sorry! “Faulty bt 350 baby monitors ”

Went to this particular store to pick up my a smart trike for my 6 month old daughter. The customer service me and my family received was terrible. The customer service assistant was helpful and did say he would build it up for our arrival. But when we arrived it was still in its packaging. Ordered a cot and got terrible customer service and so far still no cot. I've never felt the need to write a review before but the so called customer service has been inept, uncaring and rude. UPDATE:

The customer care line has been very kind and helpful. We are able to go in store to collect the missing parts in maximum 10 days. Hope those boxes aren't missing pieces as well otherwise it will be a huge loss of time.

I went to mothecare in Cardiff Central to purchase a cotbed for my infant daughter, and paid the £8.95 delivery fee. The agent at the store messed up our address, so I phoned customer care to have it corrected prior to delivery. I was informed at the store that I would receive a phone call two days prior to schedule the delivery. This never happened. Paid for a car seat which was due for delivery on 1.04.15 when I actually arrived to collect it wasn't there. Contacted the store the next day to be told that the order hadn't actually gone through and that although they had taken payment for the car seat no car seat was ever going to be delivered. I recently purchased the Lulworth wardrobe. Everything was present and correct when it arrived, however the instruction manual is wrong and it is missing 12 vital screws. Customer services is awful and extremely disappointing. I have been promised the earth, been sent 2 separate fitting packages....still no correct screws!! 4 days on they say they will listen to my feedback, but no solution!!! Promised a Saturday delivery... only to be informed 3 days before delivery that they don't offer Saturday delivery anymore. Will be delivered on Friday. Since I won't be home (business trip), I can't accept that. Spoke to Mothercare and all they said was that you need to be home on Friday, otherwise it won't be delivered! I ordered a cotbed from mothercare, what a mistake that was! The payments I mothercare kept going in and out of my account, I was so confused! I called mothercare customer service on 4/5 occasions, they advised me each time they didn't know what was happening and to wait..... For how long!? After over 3 weeks of not knowing what was happening my cotbed arrived, I was advised 5 working days to deliver!
