Good Points: Wide variety and constantly changing stock Good layout
General comments: I visited the Matalan Erith store last Saturday at 9am with the intention of having a spending spree. This proved to be impossible because I found the heat in the shop was unbearable. The air-conditioning seemed non-existent and I had to leave after 5 minutes.
How the staff manage to work in those conditions amazes me.

Managers and staff should be very carefull of insinuating that you have swopped stickers on clothing, in public, when it was due to staff error. Manager and staff apologised but it is now too late. On fetching more garments of the same the incorrect stickers were on these aswell. The manager then wanted to pull the items from sale without refunding us when we were charged the higher price.

Matalan is very good value for money, and they offer a large range of sizes in Edinburgh. "Big" girls and such are catered for.

Matalan need to concerntrate on larger sizes, I heard they were in trouble but when they have sales on you find that most of the goods in the sales are sizes 8, 10 and 12. Sell more larger sizes and maybe you will be able to save your stores. My friends and I used to shop at Matalan but since we have all put weight on for various reasons we know it's no use going as we wont find what we want.

Matalan offers a good shopping experiance. Clothes are of good quality and prices are low. I find that items fit vey well. They offer excellent value for money.

We have shopped for all the family at Matalan, for clothes and for housewares and furnishings.
Very good value for money and good quality shoes and clothes. We went to the Branch at Coatbridge in Scotland, and found it to our satisfaction.
If you need holiday clothes go to Matalan, if you want winter clothes go to Matalan or just clothes and accessories in general go to Matalan.
We have been to a few different stores over the UK and found all of them to be the same service and good quality. ...
