Good Points: Fuel efficiency, consistently getting 41mpg (Mixed motorway and rural driving)
Bad Points: The view out the rear isn't grat when reversing, the C pillar has been in the way a few times in the supermarket car park.
General comments: I have driven one of these Toyota Avensis 1.8 T3X Family Cars for the past two months as a rental car. Some 5500 miles in all, motorway cruising, rural driving and trips into town. Its all very comfortable and easy. The car is averaging 41mpg. The driving position is first rate. The car is good at overtaking if you knock it down a gear and press the pedal hard too. The stereo system is excellent. I have never been so comfortable in a car of this size. There is excelent room up front and in the back. The boot is pretty big too. An excellent car, I would buy one myself.

However fuel economy makes up for it. Nice looking car, much better than the old japenese style Avensis and so far no rattles or groans. Very well specified at this level and price. I think the top of the range is just under &poun ...
