Went to Lidl, Carters Green West Bromwich. Thought is give it a go as was passing by. Purchased fruit n veg. This was on the monday by wednesday, Was wilting n squasy, cauliflower n broccili black, strawberrys n raspberrys mushy. Celery pitted n brown on outer sticks. Apricots rotten, advocados black inside, need i say more!!!! Stick to trusted brands n supermarkets. May be cheaper but you end up throwing money away. “Unhelpful staff”

Just been to LIDL store this morning 28th March 09:30 ish. Very quickly through the till, paid by card, handed my receipt. THEN suddenly remembered I had a £5 voucher that expires today. Immediately said to till staff - I forgot I had a voucher. TOLD - sorry can not do anything for you now Too LATE. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. “Parking at Lidl .. beware”

Lidl is not the cheapest if you end up with a £90 parking ticket for simply shopping with them. Long wait at check out due to lack of staff. The Parking Prankster web site SAYS "At one time Lidl contracted one of the larger parking companies to manage their car parks. However, once they learned how much money was being made by the company for overstays, they sacked the company and brought the operation in-house" In other words, Lidl pocket the parking fine to boost their profits. “Never managed to buy ANYTHING in Lidl”

For 3 years, Lidl has advertised Hungarian Tokay 5 Puttonyas wine. which I am very fond of. After visiting stores in Eastboiurne (twice), Exeter (twice) and Reading, I have never been able to purchase any Tokay. In two cases staff had heard of it - in one case they thought it might be in a reserved place 'as we don't have much of it' - and in 3 cases including today, staff knew nothing of the product and would not find out for me if or when it would be in stock. “Lidl is changing?”

Lidl was a great choice for me to buy cheap products. Most products here were of good value, their own brand products were tasty, so I liked some of them even more than similar products from more expensive brands. My favorite bread for breakfast came also from Lidl. Step right up LIDL suckers I've done all my grocery shopping at LIDL for the last 16 years. Now I've switched from Lewisham LIDL to ALDI and if you have any sense you'll think about it too. I love shopping in lidl,products are so good,I have lots of favourites now and the prices are great. My only disappointment is that in two of the stores I go to in glasgow ,the baskets are filthy,they need a good high pressure wash. “Our shop of choice”

We started shopping at Lidl about 3 or 4 years ago, and it has saved us a small fortune. We regularly go to the Driffield, Pickering and Malton stores. But also the Thirsk, Whitby, Harrogate & Willerby stores. I have only been shopping at Lidl for 3 months and I must say well done.  I have tried own brands from many other stores,  Lidl are by far the best and tastiest.

They are well stocked on most products. The fruit and vegetables is great.

“Fantastic Aftercare”

I bought a microwave from Lidl 2.5 years ago with a 3 year guarantee. It broke down on Monday so I rang their customer service the same day. Good job I still had the receipt that's all the details they asked and they sent me an email with a post label for Germany attached. 

On Tuesday morning UPS arrived and the item away. I was thinking that would be 2 weeks gone at best and then a load of hassle.

Lidl and Aldi's 3 year warranties are great. I'd rather get a relatively unknown brand from them because they seldom fail and, if they do, you're covered like this.

Lidl staff  have no sincerity or feeling and I'm sure they are robots. Don't ever bother complaining to customer services as you won't get a reply. I asked a manager at my local Lidl why their customer service was so poor. His reply was: "They are very busy with a backlog of . . . ". “Cycling Shoes”

Mens cycle shoes broke on second ride. I wasn't expecting them to last forever but more than one ride would have been nice. My fault I left it until outside of guarantee period before I wore them. Contacted customer services on the off chance they could try and help, or tell me where I could buy new parts, but they were not interested, just quoted guarantee period back at me after I had already said I knew they were outside it. 2 more emails met with similar reluctance to help.
