Room was basic, there was alot of traffic noise from the dual carriageway outside, this was continuous even through the night. We found this Travelodge hard to find as the postcode would not register on our sat nav. We had a room for three people with only one bath towel and one hand towel in the room, we ask for more towels at reception which was no problem, the receptionist was friendly. The Little Chef was adjacent to the hotel where we had breakfast the following morning. We would recommend to a friend providing they get a room away from the traffic noise.

Hotel needs updating, $175 room, bed was big and the tub was big, but poor set up, looked old, the heating system was extremely loud. I just stayed at a way nicer hotel, for half the price a week ago.

This location has had some bad reviews, however the rooms have been redone with new beds and carpet. There was no unpleasant smells, water pressure was good, over all condition is very good.

This Travel Lodge is basically run down, dirty, in need of maintenance and redecoration. When we arrived at 1300 we asked if we could leave our bags in the room and were told that the room was ready for us but if we wanted the key before 1500 it would cost us an extra 10 pounds, is this really customer service at it's best.
Parking cost 5 pound for every 24 hours and you get the feeling that your car is secure because of all the cctv cameras, don't be fooled the cameras are there but not workin ...

I would never stay or recommend Travelodge to anyone. The place was run down, the room was not cleaned. I noticed behind the door in the bathroom there where hairs and they were not from anyones head. Also, the food was nasty! They always ran out of everything, even coffee. The front desk employees snapped at us when we asked them questions. I guess the price for the room was reasonable but you get what you paid for. Dirty and rude. Never again will i stay there!

I wrote about my experience where i booked for a date and when i got to the hotel they claimed i booked for a date that had passed a few days earlier, conveniently...

thus meaning i had to pay up to £201 out of a strangers kind pocket to find alternative meals and accommodation.

I have had several replies back basically stating that despite the small mounting of complaints regarding their poorly coded and maintained website that they were not able to replicate the issues and provide m ...

Having booked and paid for two rooms on 24/08/09, for an overnight stay for the 03/10/09, we arrived at the hotel to be advised that they only had one room available, as it is a first come first serve basis, they had another room available in a hotel 6 miles away, as we were out with friends for the day and evening, this was not acceptable to us, bearing in mind they have had my money since 24 August. We had spent the day at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club and Spa, therefore were in need of a shower ...

I don't think my standards are too high and I know Travelodge is relatively cheap, but I don't expect to see mildewey shower curtains, ceilings, mouldy windows and net curtains and prehistoric furniture. I felt conscious that while the room was surface cleaned regularly, it needed a regular deep clean and proper attention - especially in areas which were clearly never cleaned. I was very keen to get out of the room, it made my skin crawl.

The accomodation was also in need of updating and the ...

HALKYN TRAVELODGE RE DISBLED ROOM and PARKING
I am walking disabled with a breathing problem and need medication if I walk too far.
I had booked in advance a disabled room.
The disabled parking space (one only) was occupied by a couple in a double room. Reception checked and they said they had a disabled car badge.
I had to park about 10 cars away from the entrance and the distance I had to walk caused me great distress.

Travelodge replied to my letter briefly stating :
"We would like to confi ...

I had booked a room at Travelodge for 25th staying until 26th, When i got there, there was an issue where the room apparently was booked for 23rd. The staff had the attitude where they couldn't have cared less despite me having evidence and despite the fact i hadn't checked in on 23rd but was standing there on 25th!!!

They then proceeded to give a brand new room to a customer because 1 wall socket wasn't working out of 6 wall sockets, right in front of me, The receptionist at this point treated ...

I visited the travelodge in hatfield central and stayed for a few nights. It is absolutely horrendous, customer service was horrible, fire alarm went off at 2am and all they said was, some drunk guy set it off.The most appalling part was in the morning i got to my car and someone had obviously broken my taillights deliberately,i went to the reception and told the receptionist, who went on and said "So?What do you expect me,us to do?What do you want me to do?"(in a very arrogant and non challant tone) ...

The Travelodge was located close to the beach and was fairly clean. But I stayed 3 nights and had a family emergency and had to check out, the hotel charged me for the for the full registration and would not work with me at all. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Travelodge - Double bed turned out to be a double bed base with a single mattress on top with duvet deliberately tucked underneath to hide this.

    - Room grimey and bathroom stunk of cigerrette smoke. You can hear every squeaky floorboard, door shutting, footstep and people talking in adjacent rooms/corridors on either floors. Don't expect a peaceful night!

    - Breakfast service was appalling, with poor quality food, rude and unattentive service, no clean cutlery, 20 minute queues for the toaster ...

Had a pleasant stay in this Travelodge ,we paid for breakfast and evening meal and the only complaint we had was the evening meal . The menu was limited and half the menu was unavailable ,we mentioned this to the management and without hesitation refunded our money for the evening meals .
Breakfast menu was good which we enjoyed, the staff were excellent any query they dealt with straight away . Location is great with the tube 50yards away plenty of little shops in Marylebone and more a 5 minute ...
