After booking 4 nights at Hatfield Central Travelodge, I read some of the reviews regarding Travelodge accommodation. It did make me want to cancel my booking right away but I didn't. Thus I was not expecting much when my family and I checked in. However all my fears were dispelled as the room turned out to be very clean and comfortable. As this is supposed to be a budget accommodation, I didn't expect to have daily room cleaning so was pleasantly surprised when housekeeping knocked on the door ...

To say that the Travelodge at Chippenham Leigh Dalamere M4 Westbound has poor customer service would quite frankly be an understatement.
We arrived around 12 noon and asked whether there was a room available earlier for the extra cost. The receptionist / housekeeper (dont know what she was and she didnt wear an I.D badge) greeted us with a frown and a 'what'. After huffing and puffing and storming around she said there was 1 room available. We thanked her and handed her the fee of £10.Wh ...

Wonderful staff at the Travelodge Wolverhampton Waterloo Road, the room was so clean breakfast superb eat as much as you like, the only downside was the traffic noise, but then they cant help where the hotel is I would like to know which room number was best for lack of traffic noise perhaps the rear of hotel.

Stayed for just one night last week at the Travelodge Covent Garden (Drury Lane) hotel. Clean large room at a very good price if booked far enough in advance. The girls on the reception desks (there are two parts to the hotel) were charming. Brilliant views over London from the higher floors, but probably rooms on the lower floors would suffer from street noise.

We often stay at Travelodges making use of their offers. Recently stayed at the Dublin Airport Ballymun Travelodge which proved to be of a very high standard of accomodation. Don't be put off if you arrive at this lodge as it is situated in an area of Dublin which is being regenerated and it is rather run down behind the hotel . We were initially put off and concerned about leaving our car over night in the area. We completely changed our mind when the receptionist told us that the parking was ...

My husband booked us a family room at Travelodge Halkyn. We had read some bad reviews about it but thought it would be bearable for one night. My husband booked by phone and we didnt really know what to expect. When asked "Would you like breakfast?" my husband replied "Yes." On arrival, we were greeted by a pleasant lady in reception. I noticed on the desk there was an advertisement for the breakfast. It consisted of a muesli bar and cereal for £4.50. You also had the choice of tea or cof ...

Overall I was very dissapointed about my stay in Traveloge Manchester central. Every time I used my key card it would show up red. It was annoying walking back to reception to get them to swip it again. They dont store your bags so when I left I had to pull my case with me. markings on the walls and the bathroom was a dissapointment. I didnt want a 5 star type of room, but when you pay for a room you expect your money worth

Beware! I booked into Travel Lodge Kingston-upon-Thames, Central one week and the hotel was new, clean and very quiet, despite being in the centre of Kingston. Great! I went ahead and booked the same hotel for the following week. Arriving at the hotel, the receptionist informed me that they had no booking but that maybe I was booked at their other hotel across the road. Another hotel? Yes, Kingston-Upon-Thames. Just that. Having never stayed in Kingston-Upon-Thams before, I didn't realis ...

I recently stayed at a Travelodge in Cringleford, Norwich. The next morning I had two bites on my legs and my sister (staying in another room) also had bites on her back.
I have written to Travelodge twice about the incident but they say there there are no bugs in the hotel. However, they cannot explain to me how both myself and my sister got bites

The customer service at London City Airport Travel Lodge was appaulling.
We had a disagreement about the meals and asked to speak to the manager, A member of staff came out and told us he was the manager. But this soon came to light that he was only an assistant. When he said that he had no power to make descisions, we asked him to phone the manager, but he told us she was out of the country and did not have her phone with her,
We then asked him to phone the manager from another branch, he ...

Travelodge Colonial WilliamsburgFirst room had bed unmade and sheets piled on table. Second room, elastic in fitted sheet was so far gone I ended each night sleeping on the bare mattress.Toilet would spontaneously flush all night long.Pile of used towels laid outside our door for three days.Room was fifty feet or less from a railroad track that had three or four coal trains rumbling through each night. Check it out on Google Earth. They put us in the back corner of the rear building nearest the ...

We booked 2 weeks in advance and drove from Lemoore, CA to Oceanside, CA (4 and a half hour drive), we of course brought or dog which we had called about in advanced and been told that he would be allowed to stay, we even paid a 25 dollar non-refundable deposit to have him in the room with us. A staff member called the first night we were here and said the dog had been barking very loudly (we had only left him for 5 minutes to walk to the cheveron down the street (IN HIS KENNEL) the following d ...

Arrived at the Travelodge in Leeds that told me I was booked into the other one in Leeds. Got there to be told I was in fact booked into the other one. Receptionist called her boss and agreed to let me transfer, that done a large voda tonic and off to my room, a knok on the door, receptionist tells me I had actually miss booked on-line and should have been there two days ago! Managed a quick trip to cash point, problem sorted, however as a frequent user was somewhat miffed at having to pay twice ...
