Good Points: Too many to mention

Bad Points: Price of some activities expensive, drinks VERY expensive, some children's bikes did not have lights on

General comments: We stayed at Sherwood Forest Center parcs this November and had a wonderful time. We went for my sons 6th birthday (instead of him having a party). We had such a good time we have booked to go again next year. We stayed in a comfort villa and it had everything that you could need and for the price we thought it was great value for money. We hired bikes for our kids which was again great value at just £12 each (not worth the hassle of taking our own). The kids loved riding their bikes. We did take hi vis jackets for them as it is very dark and there are not many lamps about the village. The pool was brilliant although very busy at times. We went bowling twice at a cost of £25 per hour (not too bad) the kids loved it.The supermarket was surprisingly not to highly priced and it had a great selection of products. The fireworks display they had was excellent. Some of the activities were very expensive and even such as crazy golf would have cost us around £20 for four of us. All in all a great holiday - can't wait to go next year.

Don't listen to the bad comments, people just like to moan lol. I have been to center parks once last year and once again this year in June, and have booked a third trip in December. I loved it soooooo much, I went with 5 girlfriends so I can't comment on what it would be like with familys, but my kids would love it there, free swimming everyday. The best rooms to stay in is the new style woodland lodge, very modern and clean, about £300 in the winter and £500 in the summer 4 four da ...

Sherwood Forest is a really great place with lots to do and that can be as little or as much as you choose! We stayed in Pine and thought that the location of our villa was perfect. If you are looking for amazing Indian food then Rajinda Pradesh is by far one of the best meals I have had and I would recommend it. If you do go to Sherwood you MUST go to the Sherwood Banquet which was absolutely brilliant! Great for kids and adults. The staff in Center Parcs Sherwood are fantastic, there was not o ...

Loads to do at Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest if dry or wet. You can take your dog. Everything is physical not a holiday to relax and chill. Spent the same in 5 days as we would for a week in turkey in 5 star all inclusive.

We have just returned from Center Parcs Sherwood Forest after a fantastic long weekend break. Our family have been going to Center Parcs every year since 1990 and have seen massive changes that we feel are all for the best. We stayed in an Executive villa on this visit (Pine 748). The villa was very clean and in a perfect location for all activities around the village. Building works were going on around the Swimming Pool but it did not affect our stay. We also noticed that several villas were b ...

Eye wateringly expensive, and not great value. We stayed in a 4* hotel for a family wedding this year, was a lot cheaper and you got all the hotel facilities included (swimming pool, gym, etc) plus a massive breakfast every morning. That was much better value than centre parcs and so much cleaner too. Very dissappointed.

Based on our experience I would not recommend Centre parcs Longleat to anybody, especially families. The accommodation was very poor indeed; unclean, damp, run down and in my view scarily unsafe. Despite continually requesting to be moved, customer services were unhelpful and ineffective, expecting us to 'live' in uninhabitable rooms.

The bike hire is well worth it and you are also given a bike lock which is really useful. The supermarket was reasonable. My sons have always booked for the paintball as they do every year but were disappointed that the paintball is now ran from centre parcs and not the activity site they usually go to. The paintball was ok but a small arena does not compare with 150 acres of woodland and different playing zones ( so my boys tell me !). I did find out the name of the centre that they went to la ...

Brilliant holiday! In the paradise swimming center place, the staff caught my attention for how alert they were with children swimming on the rapids and also in the main pool area. A couple of lifeguards stood out from the rest as outstanding lifeguards. The village was nice, the bikes were good value and overall it was a brilliant 4 day break!

We are about to go again for the 3rd time, our kids love it, we love it, we have never had a bad experience so quite surprised at some of the other comments, have been to Elveden as well but prefer Sherwood. The staff couldn't be more friendly, villas clean and comfy, would highly recommend this holiday to anyone, as long as you like the outdoors. Great walks if you don't want a bike, although I would recommend one. We have also spent Christmas here and it was magical and going back this Christ ...

Expensive given the quality of the accommodation. Restaurants over-priced given the poor quality. Activities for small kids are not well managed and some concerns about the attitude of some staff.

I thought Sherwood Forest Centre Parcs was too expensive for a new style executive lodge which cost £1491.00 for the week. The bikes, food and activities were good, however I think the cleaning could have been more thorough.

Saved a lot of money booking direct for the activities we wanted. We went to Adrenalin Jungle at the weekend for paintball, quads and Archery. Amen Corner Karting just across the way was great on the Sunday.Center Parcs is a favorite of ours but they are just too pricey if you want an adventure holiday. At £60 each for the quads it was just too much for us this year.

Had a great 5 day holiday, something to do for people of all ages! 'Disco equipment' had to be taken down after the first night but this was no problem. Swimming is great fun, especially after 6 cocktails at 10am and a night on the spirits! Spoke to quite a few people who were great, possibly the people who wrote 2 reviews on here (your welcome to come to our place in leeds then for a night out) It is a must to aquire bikes as it was when I was last at Centre Parcs 12 years ago. Drinks ...

I think they would get a larger clientel (pardon the pun) if they introduced the larger size in their range, without adding the fact that it is a larger size. Just stating "catering for all", or not just "skinni minni range".. Com-on make us feel good.

We have just returned from Sherwood forest, there was a group of young men there who seemed to want to upset the comfort of everyone there, it is a shame that Center Parcs allowed all male parties. Perhaps in future they will look at these all male bookings it is not fair on the family element.
