Good Points: Lovely settings, wildlife, lovely walks.
Bad Points: The evening entertainment ie a show is only on during July/August or easter. It would have been nice to see something like that, it got a bit boring after 3 nights.
General comments: Center parcs sherwood forest is a very well run place. The beauty of it is that you can be sitting on your patio, watching the squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife (we saw a mole!) and you can't hear anything except the forest, yet you are surrounded by thousands of people. Children love the way the squirrells come to feed so take bags of nuts with you if you have young children.. The lodge we had was a bit worn around the edges and a bit dark but I have stayed at Sherwood before and had a better lodge, I guess it all depends on the luck of the draw. Activites are numerous and there are various restaurants available. We particularly rated the Indian and the Italian restaurant, superb! My two teenage boys (14) loved the swimming pool and their bikes.

Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest is a very lovely place on our first vist and we weer pleasasntly pleased with the setting and lodge we had. we had an executive lodge with 3 bedrooms. It was clean tidy but a bit worn around the edges. The garden could have been tenered better weeding out nettles and bramble and fenched of area at the lodge so the young kids could run outside, but generally it was better than expected.

I love the place its safe, energetic and lots of fun for the whole family. Have own accommodation that means you have your own privacy. Food in restaurants is also good. I give Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest 10/10. Excellent.

Bitterly dissapointing experience at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest. I feel badly ripped off by the hype and naive for falling for it. Longleat village is dirty, tired and very poor value for money. we paid £190 per night for a grotty Exec appartment that wasn't cleaned properly( toilets &kitchen)was really grubby and shabby. The pool is great and the kids loved that but I didn't appreciate the cycle warriors charging down the footpaths in packs, it's un safe. You have to pay for just about ...

We have just spent a week in so-called "executive' accommodation. The Center Parcs villa was tired and dirty and in need of an upgrade. The Forrest was great and the camp was very quiet and restful. The swimming pool was good. Restaurants were OK but expensive for average quality. Generally the staff throughout were quite jaded and forcing smiles etc.

Sherwood centre parks is great we had a weekend break and had a great time, there was lots of things to do and the swimming pool is amazing. deffo recommend no cars policy is great for people with small children like us. The children could ride their bikes safely they loved the pirates ship play area in the pool.
The accomodation was top notch we didnt have any problems the villa was spotless and new beds very comfy.

Went to Center Parcs, Sherwood, for 5 days & had a great time.
The Restaurants are not that great - be warned that HUCKS American style diner is probably the worst ever restaurant i've been to! It was a total rip off & the food was really poor! Rajinder's Indian Restaurant is the total opposite - we went twice. Great tasty food - worth the money. We stayed in a New Style Exec Lodge which was nice after I'd spent 1 hour cleaning. It wasn't cleaned properly which was disappointing considering the ...

We have just been to Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest for the weekend and was so sad to leave there in the end. The swimming was fantastic, the places to eat were great and lovely food! For me, the only downside was that I found the activities were too expensive 21 pounds for Tree Treking for 20 mins, I thought that was bad. Crazy golf was 15.98 for 9 holes for 5 people. You have to higher a bike for the weekend. You might need a week off work after it though. The accommodation is great comfy beds ...

Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest have spotless chalet - comfy bedding- friendly, happy staff (first for me at any resort I have stayed in -bar Florida!)
The food was delicious in all restaurants - Cafe Rouge excellent. Fab deals for kids without breaking the bank.Dont worry about the CREDIT CRUNCH here - you can get great deals on breaks. The restaurants have brilliant deals for kids and they can play near you whilst you enjoy your meal.
The water park is fab and you even get the safety float ...

Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest was really peaceful and lovely within the trees. make sure you book any activities that you want to do before you go as they get booked up really quick. I am going 3 times this year as there is some great deals on if you use the promotional code for January.

Center Parcs is Clean, friendly, no cars, great food and the subtropical paradise is amazing! A must go for all ages! There are too many chains - no need for the Starbucks and Cafe Rouge, it takes away from the atmosphere.

I have Holidayed every year in a group scenario for the last 7 years every year. I have visited Elveden, Longleat and Sherwood and always had a fantastic holiday but my last visit has really made me lose confidence in center Parcs. On the first night we moved into our executive villa. The villa was dirty, we reported it but it was not cleaned despite assurances it would be, then at night there was loud music at the venue until 12:30am, the next day I asked to be moved which they did as the music ...

This is my second time at Sherwood forest and having visited other centre parcs this is my personal favourite. We took our two children (ages 4.and baby of 6 months) to breakfast with Santa at Hucks diner and we both agreed the staff and santa helpers were fantastic and the food was brillant. No rushing you. My eldest daughter had the time of her life.

We booked a 3 bed exclusive as a hen weekend. we where expressly told that hen parties were not allowed, however all being over 30 and not out for major drunken antics we weren't going to make a song and dance and just wanted a quiet weekend away. Imagine our surprise when on our second night, whilst enjoying a quiet dinner in the Hucks dinner 2 massive hen parties arrived, one of which were in fancy dress etc. Double standards???Very poorly lit on the walk back to our lodge, unable to park car ...

We stayed at Sherwood Forest Center parcs this November and had a wonderful time. We went for my sons 6th birthday (instead of him having a party). We had such a good time we have booked to go again next year. We stayed in a comfort villa and it had everything that you could need and for the price we thought it was great value for money. We hired bikes for our kids which was again great value at just £12 each (not worth the hassle of taking our own). The kids loved riding their bikes. W ...

Don't listen to the bad comments, people just like to moan lol. I have been to center parks once last year and once again this year in June, and have booked a third trip in December. I loved it soooooo much, I went with 5 girlfriends so I can't comment on what it would be like with familys, but my kids would love it there, free swimming everyday. The best rooms to stay in is the new style woodland lodge, very modern and clean, about £300 in the winter and £500 in the summer 4 four da ...
